Correct. This seems to fix it, at least for me.
My big issue with this is that it forces me to reach down to my phone (as I leave mine on the charging mat) touch the iPhone screen to wake it, hold my phone to disconnect Bluetooth and then reconnect Bluetooth.
Totally defeats the purpose of...
Interesting to read replies to this thread.
My Job 1 MachE had NO garbling issues at all for the first year or so of ownership. Once the crummy ānew iconā UI on the big screen update occurred, I began to have these garbling issues both making and receiving calls. Same Iphone Iāve always had...
Damn AJ!
Very sorry for your loss, very glad youāre Ok.
Terrible to see the pics of a fellow first adopter in WA stateās, crunched up MME. I remember our first conversations and excitement at that exhibition of the demo car in Kirkland.
Hope that whatever ride you choose moving forward keeps...
iPhone 13. Iām 100% PaaK - works well enough for me, but not without some annoyances. A couple times a week, have to wait for the phone to āconnectā with car when Iām walking up and pushing the door button endlessly. Usually taking phone out of pocket and opening fordpass (even though I always...
*edit as I see with last update Unbridled is misspelled when I looked at the pic I just uploadedā¦Come on FIRD, check your spelling š¤Ŗš§
Add my Job 1 SR/AWD to this annoying list.
Car has been largely error free lately (funny to type that, thatās where we are with these tech-laden vehicles) so it...
One and a half years ago (after reading the well written instructions) I added the rather easy to install momentary switch. I CANNOT believe to this day that this isnāt added as a physical switch/standard equipment on new Mach-Eās.
A simple, very cheap part that makes it so much easier to open...
Job 1 car. Almost 2 years of ownership (May 11, 2021).
Build date Jan 11, 2021ā¦.yeah I had early adopter issues before delivery.
My āfree one year trialā BC function just randomly showed up after one of the so far 4 OTAās Iāve received this month. I have also been to the dealer twice since...
100 % PaaK since Day 1. 21,000 miles, almost 2 years.
Yes, it can be OCCASIONALLY glitchy. Never stranded, me never had to use backup code or anything like that.
I take my Fob w/ me only when I go to dealer for service.
Iāve had plenty of issues over these last 2 years w/ my MachE, PaaK...
Would have to think that you are undoubtedly the Mileage Kingā¢ļø.
Almost embarrassed to ask as Iām a lowly 13.5k after May 11 ā01 purchase, however I feel like Iām well versed in all the ins and outs of my rideā¦when I rolled 10,000 I noticed the 1/10 portion disappeared from my display, yet here...
Dang that is horrible. I see you have a sweet looking (love the rims and calipers) well experienced ride with 24k-have to ask have you ever had any other problems like this before?
I have a Job 1 car and have only used the fob for the few times Iāve had to have dealer service - otherwise 100%...
100% PaaK, 99.9% of the time. The 0.01% is when Iāve needed dealer service and then itās using/handing them the fob. PaaK was a big selling point for me as I guess I just like having empty pockets, and not having any other need for the old school key ring seemed soā¦simple.
Iām with many who...
Oh, sorry I did not realize I pissed in your corn flakes. Your narrative is first Iāve ever read as such. Jim also is prone to very hyperbolic prognostications as to when updates and other things will happen to current MachE owners.
I remain unconvinced that once a 2dr electric Mustang is...
My $0.02,, not worth a shiny pennyā¦
I, being the owner of of V6 (āStang purists hate them, maybe only slightly less than eco-boost versions) feel strongly I can comment on this topic having endured some vitriol over the last 11 years of Mustang ownership from some uninformed haters.
Iām sure...
This ā¬ļø ā¬ļø dang hate hijacking a frunk release thread (as a Job 1 owner Iāve just given up hope!) however FordPass app is dreadful lately with this warning of Are You Driving! I walk swiftly, but not that fast.
Itās life on the MachE Early Adopter Roller Coasterā¢ā¦wheeee
My $0.02 worth here. Mine āworksā about 75% of the time (As in returns the seat to driving position). Sometimes, of the non-functioning 25%, it moves the seat forward about 1ā, like itās tired and lazy. Always goes to proper, programmed position by manually pushing the 1 button. First world...
Xpel PPF Full front, hood, mirrors, headlights, wheel ālipsā and all door edges.
Drove for 4 days only,āunprotectedā. So shiny and clear when you zoom into pic it looks dirtyābut itās just the asphalt showing up as reflection. Very happy I did this in May ā21ā¦ now Iām 9,000 miles later. Only...
Man, the ONLY thing I hate about my MachE is the P-C assist. I have the sensitivity dialed down to the lowest setting and mine lords over my driving like you cannot believe. It is horribly over zealous at low speeds, and frequently locks the brakes when Iām inching forward. Example: like at a...
Mark ā thanks so very much for your detailed write up & photos.
I will need to buy a grommet to cover the slight blowout that happened when I drilled the hole through the console for the switch. Aside from some difficulties in attaching a splice to the extremely thin brown wire, I accomplished...
First occurence was a week agoā¦thought was that this was another little anomaly and annoyance due to early adoption.
Then it occurred again, both of the last 2 days.
I drive around a fair amount during the day selling, and then in the evening, after being bellied up at the local pub for some...
What a bummer first post.
Good luck, that looks to be an extensive and expensive repair. I would take a number of deep breaths and wait for insurance to handle this, thatās going to take some time.
Sorry for your unfortunate experience. Keep your chin up, couldāve been a potential injury...
