POLL: Let's keep track of what reservation numbers have received their Tesla adapters!

With all of the vagaries of batch processing and shipping, this could be a “fun” thread to watch (“how is someone in the 8000’s getting theirs when I was order #3! Ford customer service sucks!” - or something to that effect …)

    Driver Door Open Button Issue

Add me to the list here. I only use the key fob (i.e., no PaaK) and recently the proximity unlock for the doors has stopped working, maybe last week and a half or so. I have to press the unlock button on the key fob to get the doors unlocked. Side note: it is a little inconsistent in that a...

Goodwill Program Information: High Voltage Battery Junction Box (23S56)

This is pretty cool of Ford, notwithstanding the naysayers. My dealer says they’re still waiting for the parts to arrive for this recall, going on two months now. Eventually I’ll qualify for this, so they don’t run out of the packages in the meantime …

    Issues getting HVBJB recall done

Anyone have any thoughts on current parts availability for the HVJB recall? I called dealer about two months ago, shortly after the recall was announced allowing part replacement and got on the list. At the time it seems like it was maybe a week or to wait for the part to arrive. Fast forward...

CrossClimate 2 (vs Pilot Sport All Seasons) - How much of a range hit?

Cool! I decided to take the plunge on the wider profile 245/50-19. They’re on order and hope to install next week.

CrossClimate 2 (vs Pilot Sport All Seasons) - How much of a range hit?

How "official" is the information you're reading on the availability of the Vredestein Quatrac Pro in 19" for the MME? I finally took a closer look at my tread and while the rears are ok, the front tires not so much. So I thinking I'm pulling the trigger on a new set within the next week or two.

CrossClimate 2 (vs Pilot Sport All Seasons) - How much of a range hit?

Thanks for the info. I don't think I'm in a hurry since there is really still plenty of tread left. I do have a shimmy <20 mph that hopefully will resolve by balancing.

CrossClimate 2 (vs Pilot Sport All Seasons) - How much of a range hit?

Anyone have any thoughts on how important the load rating is? I like what I've been reading about Vredestein, especially because it seems like they probably probably don't experience the potential range hit of CC2s, but it has a lower load rating in my (19") size. I suspect one of primary...

CrossClimate 2 (vs Pilot Sport All Seasons) - How much of a range hit?

Les Schwab is the dealer I found. I just figured out that the Quatrac Pro can be bought on Tire Rack and installed at Discount Tire.

CrossClimate 2 (vs Pilot Sport All Seasons) - How much of a range hit?

Thanks! This is super helpful. I was able to find a dealer here in Oregon, so I’ll check them out.

CrossClimate 2 (vs Pilot Sport All Seasons) - How much of a range hit?

Any given solution is a compromise of some sort. The OEM Primacy's have been perfectly ok most of the time for my driving style and conditions, and I don't need or have the room to maintain two or more sets of tires for year round use. The Pilot A/S and CC2s seem like a notch up over the...

CrossClimate 2 (vs Pilot Sport All Seasons) - How much of a range hit?

Discount Tire and Costco both show CrossClimate2 as an option.

CrossClimate 2 (vs Pilot Sport All Seasons) - How much of a range hit?

I just crossed over 45K miles on the OEM tires (FE AWD). Even though there appears to be quite a bit of tread left I think it's time for me to think about planning for their replacement. I've landed on going with either the CrossClimate 2 or the Pilot Sport All Seasons. The Pilot A/S seam...

Mach-E to gain access to Tesla Superchargers! Get standard NACS port starting 2025! [⚠️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS / SOCIAL / MUSK COMMENTARY]

Maybe I’m late to understanding what all this means, but for those of us with the existing CCS ports, are they saying the NACS-CCS adapters will enable DCFC level of charging? As a reference for my question, I bought an adapter that enables me to use Tesla Destination chargers, which I take as...

    Lighted Pony Project (back it!)

Thank you for the info and video - they were enlightening (pun intended)! it seems my unit came with the Zener installed on the wrong wire (red instead of white), and still needed to connect the red wire to the headlight. So got the pony light working, although it stays on for 5-10 minutes...

Yakima EXO Cargo/Bike Carrier System setup

If I’m reading your post correctly, you’re getting a Yakima EXO base hitch, the EXO Cargo box, the EXO riser, and the EXO bike rack? If so: 1) I do think the EXO bike rack could be disassembled to fit in the EXO cargo box. 2) I have doubt that the bike rack you already have attached would clear...
