How often do you plan on using your NACS adapter?

Odds are I won't use it at all in 2024, since I won't get one until September, according to Ford.

Can't deal with the bouncy ride anymore after two weeks with the Mach-E. What do I do?

Yes, the stiff suspension is bad for anyone prone to car sickness. Unfortunately, there's no fix for this. Trading it in on a different EV is probably the best option if it's a big issue for you. I've heard from the reviews that the Volvo EX30 has an amazing suspension system.

Announced: 2024 Mach-E gets more range, faster charging + GT model gets optional Performance Upgrade: 0-60 mph in 3.3s. 1/4 Mile in 11.8s @ 114 mph

I'm not seeing the words "heat pump" anywhere in this announcement, which is the biggest thing they could have done for range, at least for Canadians. Kudos on boosting the range, tho'. I'm also curious why the claimed charging improvements are so ambiguous and no increase to the 150 kW upper...

    Rivian R2 Reveal w/ R3 and R3X Surprises! $45K, 0-60 >3 seconds, 300+ miles range, NACS port, 4695 batteries

Yes, I made a reservation as well. It looks good from a 2024 perspective. How it will look in 2026 is a question, but if I still like it then I'll be on the list. P.S. reservations in Canada are $150 CDN.

Who is repenting the decision of purchasing a Mach e? I am for sure

So sorry to hear your experience has been so poor. Our own ownership experience since early 2021 has been excellent. I am very happy with the local dealership, College Ford.

free charging at Ford dealerships US nationwide?

Not in my city. Charging is either indoors or turned off. You can plead with the dealer for a charge if they happen to be open, but if they need the charger for their own purposes you'll be out of luck.

Ford Confirms: Owners Won't Need Tesla App to Supercharge

FordPass never worked for me, probably because I'm in Canada. While it may be easy, getting it to work in all situations may not be a priority for Ford. In addition, it kept crashing the Electrify Canada chargers until I got an EC tech to turn off the connection to FordPass.

Ford Confirms: Owners Won't Need Tesla App to Supercharge

I already have a million charging apps. Well, OK, perhaps slightly less than a million, but FordPass, EVC, Shell, PetroCan, Ivy, Co-op, ChargePoint, Electrify Canada, Flo and Journie. Adding a Tesla one shouldn't be a major inconvenience. If they just had debit transactions like a gas pump, that...

    Ford discontinuing Park Assist

Someday when I'm bored I still mean to learn how to use it.

    One pedal braking

I love the one-pedal driving and use it all the time, unless conditions are icy. It is too aggressive on ice. I also dial down the driving mode in icy conditions, all the way to Eco if necessary.

Ford has huge inventory of Mach E

I would only ask (1) and a modified (2): Do you need to take long trips in very cold weather?

Ford has huge inventory of Mach E

To me, having a decent inventory of cars on hand for customers to choose from is a good thing. I know corporate management is all about not keeping any inventory on hand for cost control reasons, but it's not my problem. Does it also mean migrating to EVs is being slowed down by all the fossil...

    Are Grizzle chargers trash now?

I had the same red ring of death. Turns out it was the car, not the charger. My friend brought his EV over and it worked fine. Ford replaced the charging port and it was good after that. Now they've issued a recall for the original charging port, which can be compromised by the amount of...

    Max charge rate for Mach-E?

The highest rate of charge I have ever seen is 120 kW.

    This Is getting really bad

Very curious to see how good Tesla is a integrating with dozens of different vehicle software programs and if they will be any better than other charging networks. I anticipate it's hard to do.

On the Fence after watching Mach E's thermal system nightmare

It's been a great car and my personal experience with dealer service has been a great one. We enjoy the vehicle and it brings a smile to my face whenever I drive it. The recent HVJBC recall has eased my worries about the risk of failure and it is, of course, covered by warranty. Still one of the...
