After my last two pairs of studless tires (Blizzak LM02 on the MME and X-Ice on the HCH) I decided to go back to studs and had some Hakkapeliitta 10s put on today. They are by far the quietest studs I have owned but still pretty audible. I canāt wait for our first snowfall! I will report back...
I just ordered a set of Nokian Hakapaliita 10s and will have them installed next week. Prior to that, I rode the last two winters on some Blizzaks which were fine in the snow but left a lot to be desired on ice. I have also tried the Michelin X-Ice on my last car and was unimpressed with ice...
I would not at all complain about having a button on the screen, but is it really that hard just to bend over and pull the release twice? I use my frunk a lot (I keep my bike pump and tools there) and donāt really mind.
I tried the rear door handles. My 10 year old daughter likes it better than just the button. My 5 year old son hung from his and pulled off the 3M sticky within a week. Overall, they are a 50% hit and now my car has 3 door handles instead of 2.
I had this problem and a small bit of filing fixed it. I am pretty sure everything was flush when I put it on but no big deal.
I wish it were a little more sticky though. My 5 year old pulled his off with too much downward motion, even though I heated the adhesive thoroughly before sticking...
That seemed to workāthanks!
That worked! For some reason I thought all of that needed to be configured in the app. Has it always been available (and I am dense) or was that added at some point? š
My car spent some time at the dealership last week for the windshield fix, a software update and replacing my rock-damaged radar sensor. All went well, but when I charged it that Friday night, it charged to 100% instead of 80%. The only saved charger in the app was the dealership location and...
I was listening to the radio and had my phone plugged in. No seat/wheel warmer or anything else and the climate was off (my daughter was a trooper and left her ski pants on for the trip). Iām surprised that would show energy but nothing on driving. Itās probably something software related to...
It wasāI was an end of March 21 build. However, based on the timing of it going south and the physical damage, they are saying that it is because of the impact. Thanks for posting thisāI will keep it handy when having the repairs done.
I skied Loveland yesterday and had to snap a picture of my highest trip yet heading down I-70. The whole 230 mile drive was 3.3 mi/kWh so my mileage is already ticking up as Spring starts to spring.
Mine comes on 100% of the time when I get close to something which has conditioned me to get close to things so I can check if Iām parked ok. I really wish there was an āalways visibleā button on the screen to turn the camera on instead of multiple menusā¦ @Ford Motor Company
A few weeks ago I pulled into a parking spot at a local trailhead and lightly tapped the front lower bumper on a rock. It was so slight that I didnāt think anything about it until the next day when I saw my shutters looked funny. It turns out that I pushed the lower part in which broke the...
Bought 4 new tires and 4 new rims since I couldnāt get my favorite Michelin Defenders in a 20ā and was sick of the bad tire selections in that size. They got me I guessā¦
My wife had a similar staple and Costco wouldnāt fix it. In fact, we had to drive home on the spare because they wouldnāt put the old tire back on (obviously not an option on the MMEā¦).
The staple is enough in the tread that it could be repaired if it were a nail.
I am not concerned about the sensors though, my concern is the rear differential (or whatever deliveries the rear power in the Mach E).
During the last cold snap, I had a tire drop to 30 psi and it threw a low pressure alert. I pumped it up and it hasnāt dropped since. However, yesterday I looked more closely at the tire and found an electrical staple in it. I know from a similar experience that Costco wonāt repair a staple so...
I got a warning two weeks ago that my Pre-Collision Assist was not available randomly on my drive to work. The warning stayed on EVERY drive beeping at every start up and the Adaptive Cruise wasnāt working either. I made an appointment with the dealership and they are able to get me in on...
I got a āpre-collision not availableā yesterday which still hasnāt gone away and multiple āChargers unreachableā todayā¦ I have had almost 10k miles of trouble free performance before this though. I hope Ford gets this sorted out soon!
