For those interested, I randomly checked the Ford site and saw my 12v charge was at 84%. I decided to remote start the car for 10 minutes. At the end it was up to 91%.
I had an issue with my 21 MME. I actually have a 23 model now. First time with this vehicle. I do not share passwords with utilities or Juicebox. I happen to use a Juicebox 40 but ai rely on the MME for smart charging.
I got the dreaded ābattery drainā message for no apparent reason. I can only assume it had something to do with me connecting the car to home wifi yesterday. The good news is the alert appeared while I was home and time to charge.
But why not show the battery level in the app? How do I know...
I just got a similar message. The only thing I did differently yesterday is connect wifi to my house. Probably unrelated. Also, the car was plugged in waiting to charge when I got the alert. When I went to the garage it was humming like it was charging. š¤·āāļø
My settings are on 73 when I shut the car off. I live in Michigan and the mornings are cold. In the afternoon when I start the car it flips on the AC. It must think the internal cabin temp is above 73.
I recently noticed if the external temp is above 50 degrees F or so my AC kicks on automatically when I start the car.
Does anyone know if this is a setting I can change?
Thanks!
I typically plug in from home when I get down to a 30-40% charge. In Michigan this week temps are floating around zero. Do most people in cold climates just plug in every day regardless of battery percentage when itās this cold? It seems like a good idea but wondering what others do.
I use a Juicebox to charge my MME but depend on the MME to āsmart chargeā based on my local utility rates. It seems to work, but the banner that predicts charge time and completion time seems to always be wrong. This screenshot was taken on a Wednesday night at 7:30pm meaning my car should start...
I happen to be in the message center and noticed there was an āElectrical System Drainā alert on a day my car never left the garage. I have two questions I hope the group can answer.
1) Does anyone know how to setup real time alerts for this error message? Iād of course want to know if I was at...
My intention with my original post was not to start a debate. I think ICE vs. EV should be looked at objectively by the buyer. Itās almost like leasing versus buying. Some people are very passionately anti-lease when really leasing suits a lot of people. Back to EVs, I am ideally suited...
I also think there are a lot of dynamics in play like the economy, political opinions, availability of chargers and of course vehicle price. Most of the more negative articles I see include misinformation.
