For 2024 they are adding an AWD option called the xDrive40 to slot below the M50. I can't find any motor specs, but considering BMW puts batteries in the driveshaft and transmission tunnel and the xDrive40 has the same listed battery specs, I don't think it will be a single motor AWD setup.
My 19 Edge opens mine from down the block, my 17 Mustang Coupe won't open it at all more than half the time. I don't even bother trying any more. I have the original opener on the visor. Built in system closes the door every time without fail.
I use this feature nearly daily because I want to make sure I'm fully in my parking spot at work but not over the line in front. I know what the side lines look like in the rear view camera when I'm in the spot where I want so after pulling in to the spot I shift to reverse and check and then...
My Ford's can tell whether the fob is inside or outside of the car and if I lock the fob in the car (using the other fob or the door keypad) it can't be used to unlock the doors. Does PAAK not work the same?
We have gotten the Ford extended warranties on our last 2 Fords. Needed it on both, and it was as seamless as taking the car in under the original warranty. (We opted for $0 copay). The warranty comes up in the computer system when they check the car in so you don't even have to carry around...
I've heard that if you increase the pressure in your tires it increases range so if you can get the left rear to match, you can probably go coast to coast on a single charge.
Then why does my Ford Mustang Coupe VIN start with 1 while the Ford Mustang Mach E starts with 3? My coupe was built in the US, the Mach E is built in Mexico, but both are manufactured by Ford.
Per...
I completely agree, the "enhancement" is only in being able to remove your hands from the steering wheel. Honestly I'm not sure that's an enhancement but I was trying to meet kodiakng half way.
While you might be able to argue that it enhances the lane centering. It doesn't do anything to lane keeping, adaptive cruise, intelligent cruise or any of the other features that work exactly the same on other cars without Blue Cruise.
I think it's pretty clear that when the subscription ends...
I was talking more broadly than just the Mach-E. My point being that Ford "got away with" putting something on the window sticker that requires a subscription, so I don't see why this would be any different.
This isn't accurate. The adaptive cruise can be intelligent without blue cruise. This is just a system of automatically changing the set speed of the cruise based on map and camera data. This has been available for a few years on other Ford cars that do not have Blue Cruise available. For...
Google maps has my street name incorrect. They have my street and the cross street switched for just 1 block. I mean anyone looking at the map should be able to be like, well that doesn't make sense. I have lived there for almost 7 years and have made multiple reports, even with screen shots...
I don't have a link for you, but it was an article in Car and Driver or perhaps a response to a reader letter? The question was exactly this. If both electric motors are capable of X hp in a 2 motor setup why is the total hp listed for the car less than 2X. And they said that the batteries...
