I have charging on my 2021 MME set to 90% (see picture). As of late, it charges to 100%, despite the settings. How do I get it to charge to just 90%?
Any idea as to the nominal cost of dealer replacement of the 12v battery?
Well I talked to the dealer today and I talked to the FORD representative. They want $1,200 to fix the issue. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Yes, the car is 2 months out of warranty, but only 17,700 miles and a part attached to the interior of the car falls out???
I thank you for that piece of info as it will be useful when I go back to the dealer. I think it may have happened during manufacturing as my car is standard range and I believe the HVBJB work was just for extended range.
No relation between the two. What you see on the right of the picture is a light weight plastic-fiber cover that extends over the air intake for the battery. It is flexible and has no structural strength purpose and looks the same on both the right and left side of the car.
The wires that...
The black piece (i.e. "shard" ?) is FOMOCO Part LJ8B-15K603-AA which is the right side keyless entry antenna module. Evidently that piece is not secured in the undercarriage and just popped out. I figured out how to untangle the wiring and re-insert it, but that doesn't seem to be a real fix...
Just a bit of an update, cameras work, get pre-collision alerts when in drive, get alerts on moving objects when in reverse, NO alerts on stationary objects when in drive or reverse
2021 Premium Standard
The following conditions manifested themselves on 29 August
• I use my iPhone to unlock the car and turn it on. Doors unlocked, but got the “no key” message when trying to start the car. Repeated the process many times, including leaving the car and re-entering it...
Wondering if anyone has run into a similar problem. Looks like my front and rear cameras work fine, but I get no proximity alerts when too close to anything in front or, when in reverse, in back of me.
My MME is a 2021 (two weeks past 3 years old) Premium, standard range (rated 230 miles). Actual range is really great and exceeds expectations in the summer, drops off, as expected, in the winter. I could be hallucinating, but it just seems that range is much better this year than when the car...
My Mach-E Premium is reaching 3 years of age. I am very happy with it. What is the expect life expectancy of the 12-volt battery? How does one check its status? Does the car provide a warning indicating it is time to replace the battery?
I had a problem with updates - "download interrupted by another process". Called Ford technical support. They indicated that the problem was due to a 12 volt battery issue. Had the battery replaced under warranty and that fixed the problem.
