    Nope. No update notification in vehicle or in FordPass. Just all of the sudden the CSP disappeared and it says "No CSP". Maybe there's system maintenance going on within the FordPass back end or something and it's not reporting accurately.

  10. Mach-e for Road Trips just sucks. Not even close. More expensive than gas

    I've got elevation variance. Uphill it gets 1.8 mi/kWh and downhill 2.6 mi/kWh. Round trip average is 2.2 mi/kWh. Adaptive cruise control set to flow of traffic; about 83 MPH. The 392 Charger averages 21 MPG on the same route at the same speed. 18 gal tank gets over 370 miles range.

    Current codes: U2008-08 P0C2F-92 Dealer said that there's a CSP OTA update that will resolve. As for the performance degrade, they actually told me that it is part of the repair to slow down the vehicle to prevent the same thing from happening again. Are they BSing me?

    Your Mach-E most likely has the derating software update installed so I doubt you'll have the problem. If it starts reducing power even at WOT after around 70 MPH then you know it's got the update. Basically Ford reduced the vehicle performance via software to save the inferior hardware component.

    I regret my @Ford Motor Company purchase. I paid for a 12 sec 1/4 mile performance vehicle but now have a derated Mach-E GT that can't even travel a 1/4 mile at full power! Wish I had bought a Tesla or Lucid instead.

    I specifically waited for the 2023 model year because I was aware that the recall was only for 2021-2022. I incorrectly believed that @Ford Motor Company was a quality based manufacturer that would not screw up the same thing three years in a row!

    A vehicle that holds the "Mustang" name and displays a "GT" badge should be able to handle "lead foot" all day and night without reducing power output! @Ford Motor Company made a huge mistake by not having people like you and me testing things out in the real world.

    Poor thermal management. There is no direct cooling of the contactors. Additionally, the location of the HVBJB is really bad. It should have been its own unit like the Wunderbox in the Lucid.

    No not Earnhardt, but I don't think others are any better. Seems like there are only a handful of EV technicians that are shared among all of the dealerships across the valley.
