Yes there is a FSE - who apparently spent the whole day yesterday trying to get it to work and has now gone back to technical about it ..

would you believe that my car still isn't sorted they had to order a new control unit which took 3 months to arrive. they finally got it and fitted it today and they can't get it working. can you shed any light looking on your side @Mike G ?

So I've since been in touch with the FORD EV customer service team who spoke directly to my dealership to find out what updates were performed already. They came back with "Everything looks to be updated and ready to receive patches OTA - and we now have to wait for an OTA update to come...

I can only assume so - it’s a Ford garage - and they have been Back and forth with Ford on the matter. But they seem to be wiping their hands clean with “the system says up to date now” - I have pushed back and insisted they figure it out I’ve also contacted Ford technical for uk and explained...

so it went in today for said update .. if you’re able to see what they’ve done by any chance ? They said they replaced the sync module and some other one and were applying all the new updates all day, but after they lied to my face last time round I don’t totally trust their word anymore

I've been trying to get mine unstuck from 1.7.1 for months. - been on it since purchase 2 and a half years ago They're replacing the actual sync module on my car now to fix it

Well got the car back and they couldn’t update it. They’ve ordered a whole new sync module or something - as well as another module which got corrupted during the update process ?‍♂️

Am I right in thinking they started the main update at the end of the day there or rather - it finished at the end of the day
