I have reserved two adapters (one for our Lightning) in the high 200s and I've only received one. Both show as still in production. I assume not *all* of the first 1000 or so orders have shipped then?
I feel like the initial charge on the Ford EVs is where we see the best numbers, thanks to that boost function. I see really high speeds for the first 10 minutes, at least. So a 15-20 minute stop is pretty good in the Mach E, it's the deeper charges that take long.
Could just be a press release that goes out, something for Farley to tweet about: "We're happy to announce BlueCruise 1.4, a massive leap forward for our hands-free technology, will begin rolling out to Mach-E and Lightning customers via OTA this spring."
Seems like I'm in the same boat as you, though. Technically my service was done "before" the recall, even though it was the same week. If you had yours done previously, maybe you can call the dealer and they can clear it for you?
My junction box failed and was replaced the week before the recall was made official in October.
I’ve called both Ford and my dealer to have this cleared and the dealer said the only way to have it cleared is to put the car back on the lift and inspect it. Kind of silly since they did the work...
