I would go with #2, get the new car. What carvana is offering seems quite good and with 0% and the credits like you said you either gotta get the warranty or get a new car.
I would speculate it will be around $250 which is the same price as Tesla sells their CCS Combo 1 adapter for, but who really knows. It would be nice though if ford offered some sort of discount on this for people that purchased cars earlier.
fyi, EV6 have the same battery chemistry as the ford, the difference is its an 800v architecture which means it can charge 2x the wattage at the same current.
That I have to assume the ev6 doesnt have the issues I have heard about temp sensor placement in the mache battery packs.
If it rolls out its gonna be tight, recently its been moving right along but we have seen this a few times before where there ends up being a 2-4 weeks break in the updates. given the version numbering I can guess they had a number of versions that had issues internally.
Well, I am hopeful that everything will be updated with BC 1.3 in Jan/Feb. The updates must be close to completing I think for the EA cars and it seems like they are getting better at rolling it out faster to everything. I do suspect bc 1.3 may be the last of the major updates though for pre...
