Hi there! My dealer kept my new Mach-E for weeks doing “stuff” to all the modules to fix a blue cruise fault. Ever since then no updates. I’m probably just being paranoid but would someone mind pulling my vin and letting me know if there’s anything wrong? It sat on the lot for almost a year...
Had to get your attention somehow 😂. I only swing that title around for dumb crap anyway. 😂
Now if you want to talk about my insecurities there are certainly plenty to pick from 🤪
Met Jim a couple times, but he was usually very busy. My main mentors were Shaun Bailey and Bill Wise. They have so many talented drivers though, I had plenty to learn from them all.
Months of simulation on iracing to prep for
It, then a dozen laps in person on the modified Suzuki swift. Still damn near killed myself on a few turns in that. Finally all clicked together though after some practice laps in each car. Butt feel is everything.
I got to go in every day I worked there and absolutely loved every minute. A true childhood dream come true. Broke my heart when they were retired and I was laid off. There has never been anything like it.
When I was working DC it was under the NASA commercial crew program. Sadly we lost out to SpaceX and Boeing. It got some new life under commercial cargo program though.
Actually I have a friend EMS friend that does it on the side for a really reasonable price. I’m sure I got a friend discount but it was $550 for the 7 year formulation.
No worries!
Nothing to great compared to the real experts that taught me. I pulled a 7:57 in a ZL1 1LE and a 7:44 in the Z06. I’m still proud though. 😊
I’ve worked with Apollo folks as consultants on modern lunar missions, but that’s about it with Apollo. I worked missions for both Astrobotic and Masten on their bids for commercial landers on the moon. Done some work on the Gateway station as well. Helped design the Orion capsule as well.
