  1. BlueCruise marketing call

I use BC 1.0 a lot on my way to work on freeways, and I find it works very well. I am interested to see the improvements when we finally get updates, but I am not at all unhappy with the current 1.0 version. As a 2021 Job 1 owner, I am supposed to get the $600/3 year renewal when my current...
  2. You can drive hands free but you can't talk hands free in California

Source? Link? The article has contradictory information. It says "drivers are not allowed to hold their phone...while driving." Using hands-free is not "holding a phone". This is very ambiguous.
  3. Why do I have two different deductibles extended warranty plan?

Kinda like a private message, but visible to everyone. :p
  4. Does anyone aware of this and does Ford share our driving data?

Some people are. Some people aren't.
  5. Misadventures and a bricked car

Very unfortunate and very frustrating, sorry to see that happened. Not to be pedantic, but the term "bricked” has crept into the vernacular and gets thrown around pretty loosely nowadays. The original connotation referred to when a device, usually a phone, could not be revived by any means...
  6. Ford: When to expect your Tesla P&C OTA [Munro Live: Using the Ford Fast Charging Adapter]

Based on all of the other threads about OTA, I thought everyone was happy with it.
  7. If you have a Mach E and feel screwed by the price slash, call Ford, or don't. LOL

So you say you're not mad at Ford, but you're not sure if you'll buy another one? I'll guarantee you they are even less excited about the price cuts than anyone on this forum.
  8. 21 GT with loose seat turned out to be.

Might you consider rewriting the first sentence so it easier to parse?
  9. Cybertruck in the wild

One passed me on the freeway on Tuesday morning. It was around 5 AM, so it was very dark out. The vehicle looks pretty strange from the back (actually, from all angles).
  10. EV 6 vs. MME My Impressions

Some of your points are fair, but I couldn't even make up something more irrelevant than this one.
  11. My list of all the things I like about the Chevy Blazer EV over the MME

Thanks for mentioning this. I forgot to loop back and check, and sure enough, I also never received the refund. What BS.
  12. Mustang Mach E 12v battery is dead AGAIN & vehicle BRICKED || Frustrating || Ford needs fix to this NOW!

I missed the part in the manual that said I had to buy a camera and install it. I thought it was a choice.
  13. How much privacy would you sacrifice to get an EV?

Hahaha yep, I read through all the posts up to that point but missed that in the very first one! 🤪 OMG that is hilarious. But hopefully I added a couple of interesting links.
  14. How much privacy would you sacrifice to get an EV?

I can't believe no one has linked to the Mozilla articles about privacy and cars (came out a couple of months ago). It’s Official: Cars Are the Worst Product Category We Have Ever Reviewed for Privacy What Data Does My Car Collect About Me and Where Does It Go? After Researching Cars and...
  15. On the Fence after watching Mach E's thermal system nightmare

I don't see much discussion here about privacy issues, but they are very important to me. Ford gives you the ability to turn off a lot of connected services if you want to, although you do lose some functionality. My understanding is that you don't have as much choice with Tesla.
  16. BlueCruise Handsfree not working after repair/calibration

Thanks, Ali. I use BC a lot, so am very familiar with the settings. BC came on and everything worked as it should - except it never entered Handsfree mode. Last night, I was playing around with the Connectivity settings, and some things were not available and the settings were acting oddly. I...
  17. BlueCruise Handsfree not working after repair/calibration

The passenger doors of my car were struck by a rock that bounced up while driving on the freeway, causing four deep scratches all the way to the metal, two of which were also small dents. I got a few quotes, shockingly over $3000, and filed a comprehensive claim through insurance. The body shop...
  18. Insurance Costs

That sounds like they dropped you.
