The IR nanny cam is horrible also. I finally am able to get it to stay on at night if I hold my head in the right position and don’t move at all.
I enjoy BC but the older models cost was ridiculous. New Mach E get it for LIFE for cheaper than older models got a 3 year subscription.
So Ford is...
And your Mach E can already fully control the vehicle when you apply a tiny bit of torque to the wheel on a non BC road.
The road being mapped isn’t causing the car to be able to be hands free or not from a driving standpoint.
And if we are supposed to believe the map is super...
Except Rivian doesn’t have Lidar currently and DOES have universal hands free on all marked roads….
You don’t need the mapping. And no one is really pointing to where Ford are really updating said maps…
99% sure the “map” is a geofence allowing blue cruise or not. And that hands free and hands off works exactly the same and Ford could easily enable hands free on all marked roads if they wanted….
But if it makes someone feel better to think roads are constantly getting mapped for an algorithm...
I am certain you have a different reaction to
2 Fatal MME BlueCruise Crashes / Distracted Drivers
than
Drunk Driver involved in fatal accident.
But ok.
Math….
Most homes have 2+ vehicles and if we are claiming the $60k+ is the sweet point for vehicles then people are spending $120-200k on vehicles….
You seem set on lower income people would never buy EVs though so there you have it. Legacy manufactures might as well drop out entirely and...
Guess I haven’t seen any evidence that people’s poverty level determines ICE vs EV trust levels.
Hard to prove what someone might do if they could afford something when it’s not an option for them in the first place.
Tesla Model 3 seems to have done well keeping close to $35k starting though...
You live also live in probably the most expensive state in the US while clearly having means above many other people.
The top selling vehicles in the world are closer to that $30k starting price…and the #1 selling even was an EV before Elmo went even more crazy than normal.
Average age of...
I personally don’t agree with this. I know plenty of people interested in EV’s until price tags start being talked about.
Lighting is discontinued now, but the ones on the lot around me are still starting at $60k. While they got F150’s down at $40k. Now we can debate spec differences between...
Most work / fleet trucks could be replaced with utility vans and it would serve the job site and drivers BETTER than using a truck.
But good luck convincing Americans of that.
And now that they shift plants to ICE they can recategorize the cost of building them into ICE loses and stop claiming building a plant makes the Mach E -billions.
They won’t.
But they could.
Did something else change? Like, where you running HVAC before and now your not for some reason?
New battery and a software update I would bet 99% likely didn’t cause the hum. But possible you were covering it up before.
Im guessing the number of people that would buy a, even cheap, laptop to enable an orange snow flake in their car is even less than the number of people who actually find the orange snowflake useful.
Large majority of the time someone “taps the breaks and the car speed up”, the answer is they didn’t hit the breaks. And that isn’t a technology problem…or at least not a computer one.
Like:
“data from the vehicle showed Seetaram had turned off the F-150’s cruise control before colliding with...
