  1. Ford to begin shipping Lectron NACS adapter to customers

Happiness is a choice. You're choosing to look a gift horse in the mouth. GM has learned their lesson from Ford and you have to pay for the adapter. How does that make them better, as you stipulated? They had the chance to watch what Ford was doing for almost a year and they are limiting...
  2. Melted 240V outlet (Major Disaster Avoided) -- PSA: only highly rated charging equipment

We are expecting Lagway to play, and to see the best version of Florida tomorrow, i.e., the one that was highly competitive against Georgia last week. I will be attending the game in person. Wish it was at 2:30 and not 11am CST, but it is what it is. Probably better for the elderly gentleman...
  3. 100,000 miles and the stats are in, Stang’s a keeper!

Hope this is ok, I posted your thread on BobistheOilGuy.com for discussion along with a screenshot your fluid analysis. Here is a link to that thread: https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/first-ev-oil-analysis-i-have-seen-2021-mach-e-transmission-reduction-gear-atf-change.389173/ For...
  4. Ford to begin shipping Lectron NACS adapter to customers

Or another sign that Tesla overpromises and underdelivers. "No really, full self driving this time, I guarantee it! By the end of the year!" -roughly parahphrased from Elon Musk
  5. Ford to begin shipping Lectron NACS adapter to customers

YT Premium subscribers can download videos, but, I'm not sure what format that is in or if it would work with your Python script(s). I assume your script is looking for an MP4?
  6. Melted 240V outlet (Major Disaster Avoided) -- PSA: only highly rated charging equipment

It's hardly a secret which ones are good. I got my Hubbell off of Amazon for $53 delivered next day to my front door. No excuses. Do your homework.
  7. Eibach GT springs on a Premium RWD. How much drop?

We have not. I would like to at some point but financially speaking it's not a high priority. The other thing is, the car is on a lease and while we're strongly leaning towards keeping the car when the lease is up, we have not made a final decision. I don't want to modify something I'm just...
  8. Eibach GT springs on a Premium RWD. How much drop?

There is a progressive spring application listed now for standard and extended range battery RWD on the Eibach site, it seems like the RWD Extended Range would be the correct fit for your car, but nobody has tried and posted it, perhaps. Speaking for myself personally only, I have a Premium...
  9. 2025 Mustang Mach-E Adds Sportier Looks, Auto Lane Changes, Heat Pump, Ventilated Seats & More

For YOUR CLIMATE maybe. It is very useful in Central Texas.
  10. The perils of not having a NACS adapter

My feeling is that all the legacy automakers are probably like this. 90% of their sales volume is still ICE vehicles, so it makes salespeople more money to be knowledgeable about them. At our dealer they basically have one guy that is the "EV Guy" and everyone else focuses on ICE. Same at the...
  11. HV Battery Calibration Procedure

is there anything to be gained by doing this other than the lie-o-meter being more correct? With our AWD standard battery I just assume around 150 miles at 70mph on a day with winds less than 10mph and that works fine. At 75 more like 135-140 miles. Also not afraid to run it down below 5%...
  12. 2025 Mustang Mach-E Adds Sportier Looks, Auto Lane Changes, Heat Pump, Ventilated Seats & More

Since there seems to be so many complaints about it getting moved on this thread, I hate the knob and the location of the knob and would much rather have the stalk. We aren't going to get rid of ours or buy another Mach-E to get the stalk, but all things being equal I'd rather have it. I...
  13. Automatic Lane Changes introduced with BlueCruise 1.5

Well ours came with BlueCruise 1.2 so I guess it was produced before 6/30/23. Came home on 6/24/24. Just got 1.3 recently within the last month. Software updates for this car seem to come in bunches.
  14. 2025 Mustang Mach-E Adds Sportier Looks, Auto Lane Changes, Heat Pump, Ventilated Seats & More

One thing I will never own or drive is a Model 3, I am 6'7"... And I hated the Model Y partially because of the controls being on the screen. Tesla is going the wrong direction, I loved their older Model S/X.
  15. 2025 Mustang Mach-E Adds Sportier Looks, Auto Lane Changes, Heat Pump, Ventilated Seats & More

Just one small thought about that... Power liftgates are useless for tall people. I would never in a million years buy one if it wasn't for my wife. I'm 6'7", just reach up there (not really a reach) and push it down.
  16. 2025 Mustang Mach-E Adds Sportier Looks, Auto Lane Changes, Heat Pump, Ventilated Seats & More

The brand new Model Y we drove before buying a Mach-E had one, IIRC.
  17. 2025 Mustang Mach-E Adds Sportier Looks, Auto Lane Changes, Heat Pump, Ventilated Seats & More

Sorry, I much prefer the ID.4 shifter to the Mach-E, my parents have an ID.4 and I've driven it a fair amount. Everything else though, I prefer the Mach-E. With the possible exception of, the cargo space has better utility on the ID.4 for taking 3-4 people from the airport, but it's really a...
  18. 2025 Mustang Mach-E Adds Sportier Looks, Auto Lane Changes, Heat Pump, Ventilated Seats & More

it makes things a lot easier around our house now that iPhone is USB-C, because all our other devices are USB-C.
  19. 2025 Mustang Mach-E Adds Sportier Looks, Auto Lane Changes, Heat Pump, Ventilated Seats & More

Other than the 800v architecture there is nothing I have experienced that would lead me to recommend any Hyun/Kia car. I've had three of them and it would take a lot to make me consider a 4th. Just my $0.02, and YMMV.
