I cleaned all the sensors, camera, windshield by mirror and the front area that hides the Lidar. It eventually cleared all error messages after the 2nd restart.
if youāve cleared all those off and made two short trips and itās still throwing errors I think itās time for a service call to the...
Well I have an Emporia charger with the schedule on the charger and Iāve not had this problem.
My charger is about 15 months old, hardwired to a 60A breaker, my MME is a ā24 Premium. I do have a charge level set for āHomeā in the MME. Iāve disabled walk away locking at least a year ago...
Iāve got an SE but have the same experience as Chitown since update to 18.7.1. And If I forget my key fob I end up using the backup code and getting the email message from Ford that my code has been used.
I have a '24 and I do have that sub menu:unsure:. I noticed today mine was set to 67 which is the winter heat setting, not 73 which is my summer AC setting (and what it was set to on that sub menu the last time I looked a few months back). It did show the steering wheel heat off however even...
Thanks @Mach-Lee. multiple independent issues seems possible.
I suppose the wheel sensor is certainly likely during the active snowing period for the gravel or snow to get packed in the wheel sensor, it's just odd (to me at least) that the majority of sensor failure messages including the ABS...
Not 100% sure I cleared snow from that area, but I think I did. Area was quite dirty but not covered with snow/ice when I got home.
But why did all the other sensors fritz out an hour or so later?
Can't find anything in search of archive so here goes...
TLDR version - Multiple sensors failed after driving through blizzard then mostly self healed on the next two trips. Normal? Departure times shifted 12 hours after this event but still display correct time on the screen. Normal?
Full...
I had charger faults, sometimes multiple sequential faults, in my first month of ownership. I only had the mobile charge cord and a 240V welding outlet in my garage at the time. And yes, they mostly seemed to be related to the preferred charge time setting
Called the Ford BEV team each time and...
That, or more likely changing the charge rate control since they're not worried about battery lasting 8 years/100,000 miles. All they need to assure is the battery doesn't catch fire while charging. If they put in a new battery every race it's on a par with the multiple engine swaps ICE race...
Or maybe monthly or biweekly use the interrupt switch to alternate which battery is in use so that both stay charged without the need for the trickle charge. Reading the amazon listing you might need two disconnects anyway.
You would also need to somehow anchor the second battery in the frunk...
My '24 Premium front signals seem to be "segmented" as you describe, so I guess that is somehow a cost savings on the '24s? Since that's how the OG rear sequential signals work on my '70 Cougar I thought it was normal...
Glad to have run across this thread. Just returned from my first road trip and seeing out the back was miserable in the snow.
I'm also cursed with the measly 12" rear blade on my '24 Premium. The NAPA 15" I just put on today is actually part number 6-015-G. I needed the counter guy to help...
Mine also does this frequently, but there are no speed limit signs in sight. It just drops the ACC set point to 25 or 35 when itās been 45 or 50 or 55. Itās somewhat repeatable in that there are 2 rural roads where it routinely happens in the same place. I now am hesitant to use ACC On those...
Thanks for the picture! I was trying to see the two adapters side by side to see which one I got today. I got the Lectron (left).
@4sallypat I wasn't aware you can tell the recall from non recall version of the Tesla adapter by sight. What are the "tells"? I thought the serial number date...
Received mine today, reservation number 107,xxx . So they've crossed into the 6 figure mark. Ordered mid May, the day after we bought our MME. It is the Ford script adapter, and it is indeed "Made in China" per the sticker.
My local toll road Express Toll /E470 requires it be placed in left lower corner. It never reads the rfid, but it reads the license plate too so I donāt pay a fine. Just the posted toll. If they ever give me a hard time iām planning to send them a picture showing I followed their requirements...
Itās a pretty reasonable bet to use the nominal 240 V for a home level 2 to get in the āneighborhoodā.
If you use 235 you get 48A if you use 245 you get 46A. My ā240 voltageā runs 244 pretty consistently.
