I live in Utah.
Utah, as of 1/2024, has a $0.365/gallon gas tax.
Per a Reason.org examination in 2020, based on FY2018 data, Utah diverts a total of 1.7% of gas tax revenue to uses outside of roads and highways, with 65% of that diversion going to public safety, so in my opinion, Utah is doing...

I'm glad that there's something coming out from the Ford/VW partnership. This "European Explorer" is actually an inch shorter than the ID4.
Like many, I'm eagerly awaiting the USDM 3 row...
Just writing an update. I brought my Mach-E into the dealer on 1/4/22. Its about 7.5 weeks later and the issue has still not been fixed successfully. I believe that the dealer has already tried installing 3 modules, but all 3 modules have refused to be successfully updated.
Luckily I have...
I watched while the techs jacked up the car with a floor jack, had to point the jacking location out to them because it wasn't easy to find. The techs were indeed looking for the proper place to jack the car up by, vs just haphazardly placing the jack on the frame and pumping prior to my...
America's Tire in Millbrae, CA patched the tire on my MachE for free, so I wound up buying 4 tires for my C-Max from there. I think they had 10-12 technicians working in their 4 bays, so definitely in and out within a reasonable amount of time from my appointment.
Wouldn't hesitate to look...
Does it kill PAAK on Android like 3.5.1? did? Lol, I don't have my keyfob with me... Last time, I updated during lunch before word got out not to do it and had to use my backup code to get home.
Mine has been at the dealer for 9 business days (since 1/4) with a similar issue - "front camera fault" and "Pre collision assist not available".
Originally thought to be part of TSB 21-2249, but error came back during test drive after updates were applied. Can I give @Fordmotorcompany my info too?
Yup, that's how I know it's going to be a bit sketchy getting from Albuquerque to St George. Looking forward to try out the new feature with the OBD2 dongle integration with ABRP.
This changes things a lot. We have a 3200mi road trip planned for 12/24 - 1/1, San Francisco, CA to Palm Springs, CA to Phoenix, AZ to Albuquerque, NM, to St George, UT back to San Francisco. Two vehicle caravan, was going to take the SUV since there were sections between Albuquerque and St...
@Administrator , I just submitted for my 2022 Mach-E Order, looks like color choices on the form have not been updated to include at least Iced Blue, if not other new colors (so I chose Infinite Blue).
Thank you.
Like the OP, I DO see a faint red glow on both left and right side at night. Those IR Illuminators are probably ~850nm like many security cameras with night vision (I am able to see the faint red glow on those as well). They don't bother me.
I still haven't gotten around to using the fuse taps to install the dashcam to my liking (Still tapped off the mirror)... So right now, the cameras come on and start recording 20s after I start the car... No parking mode yet.
As for the quality of the cameras, I think they work fine, better...
Anyone play around with the Smart EVSE app?
It allows for setting the max current to 50A...
Needless to say I did not leave it on there for long, but can verify that indeed, the Grizzl-E Smart can output more than 40A.
Lol, was there a question in there?
If it was a question of whether you can fit 3 car seats across, the answer is yes, but it all depends on what car seats you choose.
As for the center seat not having latch attachment points, latch system IIRC was designed to make it easier to install a car...
Speaking as a current Tesla product owner (Solar)...
It the title of the thread read:
Tesla delaying Model Y deliveries intentionally to boost Q4 revenue?
My vote would have been 100% yes.
License plate wrap installed today.
Like the stamped plates from the DMV, the vinyl plate has letters/numbers that are slightly raised.
Installation was very straight forward once I determined where the center of the car was, and how high/low I wanted to mount the plate.
I know there have been reports of the "This Trip" badge behaving weirdly. I don't think I've seen a SSM that specifically address the issue, but I thought I'd share a picture of my This Trip from this afternoon.
Apparently, I had driven 9.1 miles in 29 seconds at an efficiency of 99.9 mi/kWh...
