I voted another EV. I probably want a Taycan Cross Turismo. But I'm also very interested in these PHEV's that can go 40-50 miles on a charge. That would get me to work and back daily on electricity and then road trips (or possibly towing) could be done with gas. Very appealing to me.
I have the $600 offer and I'm contemplating paying it. Do the newer BC versions get rid of the 80mph max speed? I live near 75mph highways, and going 79 is like sitting still.
This happened to my first edition. Random charging errors at 40+ amp. Worked fine on the dealers 30amp charger so they didn’t fix anything. Complained again and they found that it was overheating and replaced the charge port. I was able to lower my home charger to 32amp so the car could...
My car started randomly stopping charging a few weeks ago. At fist I blamed the L2 chargers at my work (8kW). But then it happened at my house (also 8kW). Took it to my ford dealer and they charged it on their 5kW charger and told me it wasn’t broken and would do no further diagnosis until...
Keep in mind, if you can connect via bluetooth, it will lower the quality of your FLAC files as bluetooth can't transfer anywhere near a lossless bitrate. I believe at best bluetooth has 30x or worse bitrate than "lossless".
I also don't think that the built in USB player will play FLAC. I...
Does android support FLAC? If so, you could just transfer those to your android and use android auto. I have an iPhone, and their version of lossless is called "Apple Lossless". If you have an iPhone I think you would have to convert your FLAC files to Apple Lossless. If you happen to...
I assume you charged in Pennsylvania and Indiana? Those are 2 of the states that charge per minute instead of per kWh. That makes it way more expensive, especially if the chargers aren't charging at their full speed.
The car itself has been flawless for me. It gets me from point A to B without issue.
It works, but it does not work as expected.
For example: My expectation is that I can walk up to my car with my phone in my pocket, press the door button and have it unlock and open immediately (1 press)...
I'm a software engineer. If your software project is super small, maybe there is a possibility of their being no bugs. But with a big project, comes lots and lots of bugs. We tend to triage bugs and put them into different buckets like the following:
Showstoppers - these bugs get fixed and...
I work in the software industry. We have something called "mean time to fix". Other industries might call it "mean time to repair". Basically, this is the amount of time it takes from when a software bug is reported, to when it is fixed.
I got my Mach-E in early February with tons of bugs...
Also FWIW, my CarPlay works flawlessly and is awesome. I do have issue with the boot time of the screen. Not the amount of time it takes for stuff to show up on the screen; but the time it takes from when stuff shows up to when everything can be interacted with and not lag.
