Yes the system is a little bit more complex, however after almost 3 years in the MME i can say the energy consumption in the winter (even in moderate cold) is dramatically lowered by 30% and more. When they implement the HP, the range loss will probably be like 20% or maybe less.

They are maybe using the same paint on the Alu hood as on the steel parts..
My MME's hood is also littered with stone chips, you can't avoid it, however on all the previous cars the stone chips were very small, on the MME the chips are much larger.
it looks like the paint does not adhere...

Mine, a Job2, only has for now the Deep sleep fix ota received some 3 months ago.
Even the contactor welding fix (22S41 recall) is visible in fordpass for some time but no ota for that yet. Dealer needs to update the car it says....
Mine had also some trim issues, broken windshield, so it went back to the dealer, think some 6 months ago, they also installed all latest software, so the improved charge curve i already have for a long time, however i also like to have the fixes done in sync, today still on version SYNC4...

Have a job2 MME build august '21.
The only OTA update i got up till now was on June 10 2022 for deep sleep issue.
If i check the Ford Pass app, no updates available.
If i check in the car, it still gives the info from the last deep sleep update.
However no clue about getting 2.7.x, also...

Mine went in for some issues already twice. (last time begin of april)
And everytime the dealer did a full update (let's say they told me all available new software was updated).
For now i also get the info from the car 'you have the latest updates', but nowhere to see what...

I've got the same issue.
All was working fine except the car was counting sometimes the wrong mileage...
Trip to dealer is around 38 Km, however the car says 48 km, but based on the calculations the car did, it actually calculated the efficiency with the correct mileage so 3,7 km/kwh...

De dealer daarentegen zal de modules zelf via FDRS update'n.
Je kan dus niet direct zien als je een update hebt gekregen (wel in Etis, maar daar heb je tegenwoordig een account voor nodig), maar gezien je een job1 voertuig hebt en als de dealer...

My MME, a Job 2, was in last week for some issues.
For now i didn't see any OTA updates, mine always displays 'up to date' without any versions.
SYNC4 v4.0.21180 is still the one from factory build including also all the issues it has
Other modules were updated by the dealer, So for now...

Dealer heeft alle software up to date gebracht, maar voor sync was er blijkbaar geen nieuwere versie beschikbaar dan v4.0.21140, die er al op stond af fabriek

Ondertussen heeft mij job2 MME wat software updates gehad bij de dealer.
Een van de updates is de laadcurve aanpassing, laden over de 80% soc gaat wat vlotter door, ongeveer een 30 min van 80 naar 100%, dat was ervoor wat anders ... 2:30 toch aan je rekker....
Met koude batterij had ik...
