A couple years back (I'm a Job 1 owner) i had that same problem. The tollway folks took that style transponder back from me and gave me one that mounted on the front license plate. They said something about the coating in class in EVs causing interference/signal blocking.
I see others saying...
Just to throw more fuel on the fire. Job 1, Chargepoint Flex set for 48A before the setting went away...
And i'm seeing the "charge for 5 min, give up and stop" issue. Nothing else changed, and before a couple of weeks ago things were fine. I have seen the red ring going... When I do get it...
So the latest update is I am confused...
Yesterday, reseated/checked the ChargePoint connections and confirmed the car could charge fine at 110. After that and through this morning it still wouldn't charge at 240.
Went out for a few hours this afternoon, came home, and now its charging fine at...
There was a windstorm 2 days ago that is making me worried about that...
Yep, both of those are good. The ChargePoint isn't showing any errors and is all blue like its connected.
I didn't think about it not thinking about it being home, but looking at Charging location, the mustang is...
This past 24 hours is the first time since the original "make IL charge again" patch that I haven't been able to 240v charge at home. But I haven't gotten a software update in the past day or so that I'm aware of.
Maybe the wind broke comed again?
I am one of the many in Illinois who were hit with the "power is too dirty to charge" earlier in the year. Ford put out a patch and since then we've been happily charging on our hard wired in ChargePoint Home Flex.
On the morning of Dec 16th, my wife went to run an errand, came back, plugged in...
Just got the notification on my phone that the update has hit my car. Looking at my previous post timestamp, it looks like it retired 8 days later. (Well, maybe 7 days if it started last night but didn't notify me until today.)
Just dropping this in for more data on "what's the retry time...
I hit this same spot yesterday. I had to do a sync reboot because my touchscreen wouldn't turn on, and after my next stop I got the failed message. It said it would try "next update" which I hope means next schedule uptime time.
I do appear to have the calm screen now, which I thought was new...
I just went through the exact same song and dance. And then came here to see if it was happening to anyone else. (I also went and checked my ford account info for my address and it was all good.)
Just want to report in that after that update 2 weeks ago I've had 0 problems charging! Both with the travel charger and then with the ChargePoint Home Flex I put in last Wednesday.
Just returned from about 2 hours 45 minutes at the dealer getting the updates (and a second fob programmed.) Got home and plugged in the car and Mustang Sally started sucking down juice from the 240v teat right away.
Looks like some of my programmed charge management settings disappeared from...
I was just e-mailing the service manager at my dealer to open up a case. Then I came here and read the good news so I immediately replied with all the info from the thread.
Wh00ho00. This has been our *only* problem in 4 days of ownership and I love that it seems to be getting cleared up in a...
Bad news is it looks like the "dirty IL power causing problems with 240v charging" issue is hitting us. Good news is here is a picture of my wife with the new MME. :) It'll be mostly her car, but she promises I get to drive it sometimes.
My wife and I are at the dealer now doing paperwork. It’s happening!
We have that same slight roof alignment most folks have, but we got it up to speed during the test drive and didn’t hear the whistle. Nor did I hear the screen noise, and I can usually hear those.
The wait seems to have...
