Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get this due to shipping costs and tariffs. @Philsky was awesome and super helpful, so If you’re in Canada and need an adapter pick this one up.
I just checked the website this morning and it looks like the price increases went live. The warranty that I paid $1145 for on Monday is now $1290, so $145 (~13%) increase.
@Charge_Rob or @Ford Motor Company would be either of you be able to assist? My dealership finally heard back from the previous owner of the car, but they said they never ordered an adapter as a part of this program.
When I called in and provided my VIN I was told someone already ordered one...
None on Granger’s site as of yet, however Zeigler’s site says that the price increase actually happens tomorrow.
BTW @Zach@granger sorry to bring up another dealership in your post. I ordered my ESP from you guys last night.
The 10% fee for financing has been there for a bit (at least the last week). Other companies (Ziegler, Lombard, etc) have references to the actual price increase on their websites too.
Thanks for Ford for doing this and thanks to you for the quick response. Just a bit of a bummer.
That’s what I was afraid of. When I called they stated that they hadn’t shipped the adapter for my VIN yet but because I wasn’t the person that put in the order they wouldn’t update the address...
Is there someone that would be able to help me with this? I bought my car used while the program was still going on. I reached out to Ford and they told me that the previous owner had already claimed it. Because I purchased from a dealership, I didn’t have any way of getting in contact with the...
Yeah thanks for the info. I reached out to my local Costcos and they said that they mainly only sell the top 4 (Goodyear, BF Goodrich, Bridgestone, & Firestone) and they just recently started selling Pirellis. Ehhh it is what it is. Gotta swap out these summer tires though that lasted NO time.
I was originally looking at Costco but they didn’t sell any Pirelli (this was last month). I just so happen to see them on their website, but they still don’t have the Pzero AS Elect as an option. Also, at least in my area, they don’t sell Vredestein at all.
So, based on the images you posted, does that mean that I should look into the VREDESTEIN QUATRAC PRO+. Being that it’s third best across the range while still being affordable is attractive
Thanks for letting us know. I’m interested, but trying to find the sweet spot for miles / time, because I only drive 5-7k miles a year. Plus like one taillight and it pays for itself.
quick questions - is it transferable? Is it refundable (even prorated)
