This works also. Was slower than your results but doesn't require gas as it's powered by solar panels. We've used it to top off while staying at airbnbs that didn't have a plug:
Have you called to verify that they are actually un-reserved? My local dealership has 22 on the website and all but one are customer ordered and it is a used GTPE. I asked why they advertise on the website then and he stated that it was an automatic thing Ford does.
I've also called other...
Nope, it's just a normal two lane winding mountain road in PA. She goes with the flow of the traffic as most of her drive is no passing zones. A couple of weeks ago a guy in a F250 coal rolled her and passed her in a no passing zone. She was already going 5 miles over the speed limit. As they...
I was thinking about that for my wife. She gets a lot of haters on her drive back and forth to work and regularly gets cut off, flipped off, etc. Where are you planning on placing since it's a dual camera (front/back). Putting it behind the center tablet would kind of hide it but would block the...
I have a 2022 GTPE and drive it very hard also. We live in the Appalachian foothills (in PA) so I know exactly what your talking about. Lots of tight hair pin corners, a good straight away to get up to speed. Then a stop sign in the middle of no where. *Knock on wood* I haven't had an issue yet...
I haven't needed a truck since maybe 2005 when I lived out on our farm. My brother has a '02 F250 if I ever needed it but haven't yet in the past 17 years. Our household works perfectly with 2 MMEs. We also have a 17kWh solar system so even charging both cars we still pull nothing from the grid...
Ah ok. Next time we're out on the highway we'll test it out. However from messing around with other cars in my wife's FE we do pull away from them slowly but with the GTPE we seem to pull away faster.
I didn't video it, but the FE cannot keep up with the GTPE. I didn't realize this was a debate. A few different times my wife and I were driving separately after meeting for dinner or what not and she has tried every time to beat me.
Last time this happened we were at a stop light, I was behind...
We have/had this issue when we got our FE. Google maps (which I assume is what Ford based house numbers on) has our neighbors house number between our homes. Whereas our house number is on the far edge of our home. I contacted Google and was able to get it fixed in their system but no idea how...
The $150k/yr is only for single filers. It's $300k/yr for married filing jointly. Which a lot more people would qualify for than filing single.
I've had a 2021 MYP and sold it in January to order my 2022 GTPE. Then my dealership told me it would be 6 months to get the GTPE, so I ordered another...
Just watched your video. You said that you have summer tires on R2D2. You might want to look into swapping those for winter or at least A/S until it warms up. Below 40F (I think that is 4.4C) the tires can develop fractures because the tire compound is so brittle.
Definitely your dealership. Both dealers near us (within 5 miles) have been fantastic. They sometimes do have a backlog but when they tell us to bring it in is when they can start working on it.
Last week I took a road trip to Fort Benning Georgia to pick up my son for HBL from PA. It's ~1400 miles round trip in my 2022 GTPE. Overall it went smoothly with just a few hiccups.
The guess-o-meter showed that I had 222 miles at full charge. It was mid to upper 30s. So around 15% hit for...
I was at my dealer on Saturday getting new shoes for my GTPE and the service manager told me he already has 3 techs trained and they signed up for the Elite.
I wish I could go to 255s but my Costco won't do it, they'll only do what is specced for the car. And the only place around me that allows you to bring tires in from TireRack is Firestone and I refuse to give them my business again. On my previous MYP they destroyed all 4 wheels.
So I've had a hard time finding an all season tire to replace the summer only tires on my GTPE. I live outside of Philly and no shop can seem to find the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 so I'm going to the BFGoodrich. I don't see any mention of them on the forums (or I'm not searching for them...
