I thought for sure this thread would be about the super loud, super annoying seatbelt noise! Anyone know how to disable or lower the volume on that? I also hate the new backup sound. The one in my 2021 was not so bad.
I am having this same issue. I had a 2021 MME that PaaK worked great on, but not with my 2025 MME. Very annoying, especially when my hands are full or it's raining! I am planning to contact Ford about it.
The fact is that most cars in the US have automatic transmissions and use a brake pedal, so even if you have a standard or 1-pedal EV, chances are you'll need to know how to drive a car with automatic and a brake pedal so it makes sense to learn. EVs can switch to regular drive mode, so it's not...
Hopefully your daughter knows how to drive a non-electric vehicle since most cars are not EVs. What happens if she's renting a car, borrowing a car, or switching out on road trips in a car that doesn't have one pedal drive mode? I can see the point at the DMV. Why not just take the test in...
It was not an EV I took in for service that the dealer didn't want to work on. It was simply a Ford vehicle that I had purchased elsewhere while I was living in a different state.
The truth comes out! I don't know why Ford dealers won't work on vehicles not purchased from them. I've had that experience as well. They are a FORD dealer and we are driving FORD vehicles, so I feel like their dealer agreement should obligate them to happily provide great service to all Ford...
Both models AWD and ext range. Interesting that the 2025 is faster on paper but feels slower. I thought the same thing, maybe they adjusted the throttle. I will try more "gas!"
I previously owned a 2021 First Edition with AWD and extended battery. The acceleration was impressive, almost like a little rocket launch when testing the limits (I usually drove in the mid-performance mode). My new 2025 Premium feels more like a regular car when accelerating. Has anyone else...
I feel the same way, especially since my 2021 MME had the dial. There's the moment of panic when you can't see and the windshield wipers don't come on as expected, then the moment of panic when you realize you have no power. I am not a fan of the stem gear shift, nor of the new wipers...
I hope if they make it free I can have back the $1,000 on my factory invoice. I asked if the 7-yr Blue Cruise could be removed (it’s gotta be just a keystroke!), and the dealer told me it couldn’t. I figure if I have to keep my eyes on the road and my hands poised to take the wheel, why bother...
I find the opposite to be true. I live in the Reno area. I had a 2021, just got a 2025; had I placed a custom order, I would not have gotten the glass roof. I will say it's nice in winter when you do want the extra heat from the sun.
The only time I had an issue with my (2021 First Edition AWD + ERB) Mach-E was when I was repeatedly hitting the power pedal hard for passing- I drove a 2-lane road with 55 mph speed limit and lots of slow trucks and drivers to and from work each day, and I was loving how easy it was to pass in...
I just sold my 2021 first edition and bought a 2025 premium awd with extended battery, and i am feeling regretful. I loved my first mach-e but was motivated to lower my payment from $950 to $350 when ford started offering all the great lease deals, but in the end I chose the 2025 and only...
I considered doing the same, but I didn't have time to wait for the Lucid so I ordered the 2025 Mach-E. Turns out I waited almost 4 months for it to finally arrive anyway. Maybe next time I'll go for the Lucid! In the meantime I'm following this post to know your thoughts. I'm having a bit of...
