So... the journey continues. My illusive RWD SR is off to Cologne, not for a stag do but for a battery transplant! 6 weeks, then back to Flushing.

I cant see whether it got mentioned earlier in the discussions but I had confirmation the 2.9% is only applicable to the extended range (else I would have cancelled my standard range). I had confirmation the 4.9% would still be applied to my Jan order - i did not expect anything else from Ford!

Apparently all down to a 'contaminated battery' that needs swapping. Yes, we know, that's why its already been in Antwerp nearly 2 months!

Guys, just had a call from Ford to say my Dec build, Jan order, which has been sat in Antwerp since mid April, will now not be available from the dealer until end of August!!! WTF are Ford playing at?! I had to try so hard not to swear at the Lady on the phone, knowing she's just the messenger...

Thanks for replying. So did you speak to the Ford concierge team to get the countersigned electronic signature doc or did your dealer obtain this for you? I've requested it all from my dealer via email but i'll wait and see what they respond with first. Thanks again

Mine was on the Halifax that arrived Antwerp (IIRC) on 18th April. Was due to be available mid June, now been told 2 week delay to early July :mad:

Has anyone else ordered the front and rear mudflap option from the dealer? I’m getting a black SR and thought it would help keep the bodywork a little cleaner. Keen to see if anyone else selected this option, or even better if anyone has pics of these fitted?

Latest Vista update from my dealer is still a mid-June delivery for my Dec build, Jan order that was on the Grande Halifax that arrived late April.

Mine was supposed to be on the Grande Halifax which left Veracruz yesterday, en route to Brunswick for 4th April. ETA at Dealers still early June. Mines a late Dec build, Jan order.

Although it is painful tracking it on the Halifax. Sat just off the coast at Altamira chilling - get a move on! :)

I got an update from Concierge to say my late Dec built SR RWD (ordered early Jan) is on the Grande Halifax, and apparently due at my dealer (in Warwickshire) early June.

You should be on the next ship, so I’d expect to see it sometime in May? Thanks - i'd take that, listening to some of the predicted dates!
