I had it happen a couple months ago. I called EA and explained it to them. The person on the phone immediately agreed that it didn’t add up. They ended up refunding $50 of the $57 they charged me. It went through my EA account and then to my CC. It didn’t take that long and required no follow-up...
There were posts about the screen turning off when opening the door. If you’re opening the door, you’re probably getting out right? The there’s a button conveniently placed right under the hatch.
Didn’t mean to denigrate your pet peeve about the hatch “settings” issue. Rant on.
You guys know there’s a hatch button on the hatch right? Yah, ya have to bend over quite a bit and reach in a few inches and actually push it while balancing on two feet exposed to the elements, but, … it’s there. Just in case you didn’t know.
So, then there’s the issue of whose phone becomes primary when both of us are in the car with both of our phones. For some reason, it’s always hers. Doesn’t matter who is driving, which profile is active or which key/PAAK/Fob is working. I think it’s all part of the car’s sense of humor, like...
So, I’m just over 3 years with the car and over 40k miles. Just checked my LVB and it was at 90% after an hour drive home. All seems to be working fine and I haven’t had an update fail recently. Any thoughts on how long one of these LVB’s will last in a warm climate?
I had a similar experience the last time I had to bring the car in for something. Enterprise offered me a pickup or the Chevy. I don’t usually drive a pickup so I picked the Spark. I walked out to the car with the rental agent and just laughed. I told him I didn’t think I could get in it and...
Checked Connected Services.” They’re all turned on like yours.
Blue Oval Charge Network is active until June. You can’t mange the Ford wallet from the “Connected Services” link in FordPass. When you tap on “manage” it only gives you a bunch of information as to what is active but no other links...
But I have Charge Assist in the car.
Haven’t checked all of the Connected Services switches in the car yet. I might have one or two of those disabled, not sure. Everything else though is on and working, BOC network and credit card. I can P&C with EA fine.
So,
At home: Charge to 80 or 90% on a regular basis with your either Level 1 or level 2 setup.
Leaving home on a road trip : Charge the night before to 100% for range.
On the road, away from home on the highway: Charge to 80% with DCFC (like Electrify America) because the charging rate slows...
I did but I guess I didn’t look close enough. So, yeah, I’ve had that happen too a couple times but not in a while. Usually I just forget to close it
