You can also try something called ABRP ( a better route planner). They are great in planning road trips for EVs. But live navigation would also cost you a few bucks. Also, I don’t think 3rd party apps know which Tesla chargers are open to us for now.
Let’s say it is know to at least both of us. I got that once in a while. Resetting the car media center is not enough in my case, I also need to restart the iPhone. After I got the latest sequence of updates I have not noticed that anymore.
You lose the option to select the charger from the navigation itself. If you select a destination that requires charging, it will add the charge stops for you. Just not the charge speed you might want. I did a test from Boston to Orlando, and it has me stopping from 14 hours for charging. It...
Got mine today. Order 151. HD to go out and test. It works great. I want to test it starting at under 10% SOC. But for today tested at 44% no pre-condition and it still reached 120kW:
That is the European style one. Mine had a shower in the trunk, but I asked them to remove it because the drain is only for the frunk area.
(A washer fluid elbow broke and would shower in the trunk whenever I used it, quick fix)
I did not buy from the eBay seller. But they are this one here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/386849008626?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=aGUNpWXxR1-&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=H-dtyfpNRVi&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I know it does not follow the trend of low profile. But I'm looking...
I just replaced the 19 with the 18 today. I can say the ride is noticeably more comfortable. I used the Carbonite gray wheel from the Select, with the same Michellan stock tires. I will let you know about the performance once I drive more. I'm also curious.
Yep, that was almost 3 years ago. A lot has passed since then. I wanted to paint that to protect it way back than, but two months ago I had to replace both shafts, there is a service call for when they start clicking when turning. Maybe I should paint that new shaft now.
It is a good practice. Carplay gets wonky after a system upgrade. Some upgrades I need to reboot a few times until it is back to normal. In my cases the problems are usually detecting the iPhone.
You can still use that on Tesla destination chargers. Like hotels etc. That one you listed seems to support up to 60A. Mach-e can go up to 48A on an L2 so it should be fine. But may consider getting from a known brand like Lectron or Tesla Tap.
