Unfortunately, disconnecting the 12V battery was only a temporary fix, the fault resurfaced a couple of weeks later. Dealer applied SSM 49676 as mentioned elsewhere, seems to have fixed it.
SSM 49676 is real (see attached from Ford dealer). Got my car back today, having reported same problem with keyless entry (on driver’s door only). Somebody recommended I disconnect the 12V battery to force a reboot - this worked, but only temporarily.
Car is 10 months old now.
Keyless entry has stopped working on the diver’s door whether using the key fob or PaaK. All other doors work!
I now have to pop open the back door to unlock the car before opening the front door.
Has anyone else experienced this? Sounds like a software glitch to me.
Sorry, I missed your question. I never actually pre-ordered. I phoned a few local dealers and found a car where the person who pre-ordered it cancelled. So I picked it up a day later!
It’s random. It’s about 40% of the time that it doesn’t start. And that’s regardless of being parked in the garage or being outdoors in the sun. Luckily the reset always works, but it is becoming more and more annoying. The dealer says there are no further updates available!
ER RWD. I really wanted the increased speed of the AWD but being my first EV I reluctantly opted for the slightly better range instead. I’d have preferred to wait for the GT but it only comes with the black interior and I wanted the light grey. Overall I’m very happy - especially if the glitchy...
The reset always works for me when the screen goes blank but some days I’m having to do it four of five times. It started even before I drove off the dealers lot!!
sometimes have to hold the buttons for maybe 20 seconds for it to reset.
Check this article. Follow the instructions for rolling code - BUT you have to do both stages. From the handheld first and THEN from the motor. Good luck. https://www.garageadviser.net/how-to-program-homelink-with-liftmaster/
I was sceptical when the dealer said the expected range will increase once the car learns about mileage and usage. But after 2 weeks in my car and almost 800 miles, my MME is now displaying 350+ real world range on a full charge. There are now hills in South Florida and it’s been consistently...
If you have a garage and your 240v dryer is in there you might want to look into dryer buddy or NeoCharge. Using the travel charger that comes with the MME I’m adding about 22 miles per hour.
All I know is it works a treat. Now getting decent charging rate without having to hire an
Electrician or have new circuits put in. Also let’s me turn power on and off remotely or on a schedule which is great when I’m out of town for extended periods!
