Why not investigate WHY people aren't using it (because it doesn't work great, too slow, etc), and make it actually work rather than just throwing your hands up and eliminating it.
If autonomous cars are the future, you'd think being able to park is a key feature to tackle.
Most of the negativity is around the term 'soon', which is warranted in my opinion.
How hard is it to not announce something until we have a release date?
I have an iPhone 14 Pro.
how do I do a voice memo? I tried submitting the voice feedback but it just sent without playing it back.
The ford assistant does not work (even when reading the example prompts), which is why I think it is a microphone issue, not a Bluetooth issue.
Does anyone else have issues with the microphone quality?
According to my wife, my voice sounds like a robot and she can barely understand me when I call.
The built in assistant also does not recognize anything, so I believe this is a microphone issue and not a bluetooth issue.
I won't knock you for trying something new, but i have to admit i did find the video a bit complain-ey.
You spend a good deal of time talking about issues with models you don't have (suspension on non-gtpe versions), issues that don't really exist anymore (junction box, it isn't a ticking time...
" Ford will continue to improve the BlueCruise experience for its customers and deliver it through over-the-air updates. "
Is that an official statement? Hope for BC 1.2 to 2021's?
I find that I hardly ever reference the turning instructions from Carplay/AA on the IPC, and would prefer to have the "Hands Free" icon visibile in bluecruise (for my nervous passengers when I'm not holding the wheel). Is there a way to turn off the turn instructions?
What constitutes an exceptionally loud IPC? Should we hear nothing at all?
My 2021 definitely buzzes, but it is not so loud that I notice it every drive or that my music doesn't cover it up. If every IPC will still buzz as the OP states, I don't want it to be replaced with a MORE noisy IPC.
I will not subscribe at $800 per year. That is just downright stupid.
I'm also pissed because I shelled out extra cash when i bought the car for the prep package, expecting bluecruise to be a reasonably priced feature. A serious bait and switch...
Ford - "Here, buy this cool hardware and we'll...
No, there is no other solution. which is why i'm confused why this SSM even exists, because going into the menu and disabling the motion sensors still doesn't disable the motion sensors..
Maybe my issue is separate from this, but their proposed 'solution' doesn't even work. I've tried everything to keep the alarms from going off on a ferry. But the only solution is to leave the car unlocked or leave it running. Neither of which I want to do..
The better question is why have 2PD at all on an electric vehicle?
The answer isn't efficiency. The exact same speed profile in 1PD/2PD/whisper/unbridle will have the exact same efficiency.
The answer is just comfort. 2PD is there as an option for those that are new to EVs that want to mimic the...
If you use 1PD properly, the driving and braking profile should be exactly the same as driving a traditional 2 pedal. Articles like this assume that we drive 60mph and then just let go of the pedal at the last possible second. That is way too jerky and aggressive, of course there will be some...
1. More information on the smaller tiles. We don't need the option for larger tiles if the same info was available on the smaller ones.
2. Make carplay a tile. Its ok to keep it up top too, but it makes no sense to remove it as a tile (especially if you can put information on the tile (ex: now...
When you charge to 100, it bases your GOM from historical data.
However, if all of a sudden you go on a road trip uphill, you're not going to get that range..just like in an ICE.
If you want to make it all in one charge, then the key is to know what mi/kwh you need to achieve that, and then...
