I have a 2021 FE and had the recall done last week. They had my car for 4 days but everything seemed ti get done OK. I was given 30,000 points + a $50 gift card + a new phone charge pad.
Got my Mach-E back last night. I was told that the reason my battery was discharged to 25% is because the HVBJB Replacement Procedures call for the battery to be at 30% or less to do this work. Doesnāt make sense to me but I didnāt argue with the service guy.
Why did they need an extension cable? Why do they need to connect the battery to the car while itās removed?
It must have been the dealers first HVBJB replacement.
I just checked fordpass and the charge level is at 33% and charging at 6KW. Earlier it was at 25%. It has been on the charger for 1hr 10 minutes. It appears that they are done and returning it to the level it was when I dropped it off 3 days ago.
My 02021 FE Mach-E is at the dealer having the HVBJB replaced per the recall. Does the dealer need to discharge the battery in order to perform this replacement? The reason I ask is because Iām seeing the battery level steadily decreasing via the Ford App.
I just took my Mach-E into a local Ford Dealer (Ohio) for a different issue and they called to ask if I wanted to get the HVBJB done at the same time. They said they had the needed parts and that it would take 3 to 4 days to complete. I setup an appointment for later this month. Does 3 to 4...

I most always use my phone PAAK to Unlock & Start my Mach-E. I know how to silence the Car Alarm if I have the key with me but how do I turn silence the alarm if all I have is my phone? Also if I donāt have my Phone or Key with me - can I silence the alarm with the touch panel on the door...
