Yeah I hoped it had something to do with it being loaded up onto a truck. But texted my dealer this morning and it still hasn't shown up. It's agonizing because it's less than a two hour drive away haha, so close but so far away
Mine sat in the lot all day yesterday, and then in the evening I lost Fordpass access. Strange. Going to text my dealer to see if we can start any paperwork and see if he has any idea when it'll arrive from Montreal
17 days to get from the plant in Mexico to the ramp terminal. Got put on a train within a day or two of being produced. We'll see if I get on a truck today.
Biggest delay was in Mexico, took a while to make it up to and past the border, once it got into the US it seems to have moved at a steady...
My car arrived in Montreal last night. Now just gotta wait for it to be put on a truck.
I'm really surprised it took them so long to get yours scheduled. I only ordered mine a few days before you, and it's the same spec (maybe different colour, I got mine in Eruption Green)
I was wrong, it is indeed being sent by train past Toronto. It's on the move again by Train, east out of the GTA. I guess then that means unloading in Montreal.
Okay so my car has arrived in Toronto, now sitting in CPKC's Toronto yard. There's an autoport there so I'm assuming this is where it gets offloaded onto a truck. But clearly google was wrong and RM61 was not concorde, but appears to be CPKC Toronto. Not a huge difference though.
I guess...
Difference might be the volume of traffic on the routes. I think that Vaughan is the only autorack port in all of Ontario, so it probably sees a lot of traffic on that route, so there's trains leaving more often in this direction. I bet I'll see a delay in Vaughan waiting its turn to get put on...
Unfortunately the Gordie Howe bridge won't carry trains, and my understanding is that my car will be on a train until it hits Vaughan where it'll be transferred to a truck there.
My car seems to be in the CPKC Bensenville yard (Chicago), on the east side of the lot away from the car storage lot, so hopefully it doesn't need to wait to be transferred to a different train car and it'll be on its way to Vaughan soon.
