Not most people in California, at least if they don't have solar. It's cheaper but it's not far cheaper and no way does it pay for itself compared to any decent hybrid.
Took a drive today. Stopped at EA on the way home as I still have some of the free charging left. Nope, wouldn't charge and the other slots were full. Looks like I could have paid for it, just wouldn't recognize what's left of the 250. I've used this location before.
There was another EA...
I drove down 101 awhile back. It probably only worked for half the drive, about 200 miles round trip, and any time the road hit a couple of consecutive turns it shut down. It also, weirdly, liked to work near the city's and not the stretches in-between.
What makes this so damn concerning is...
Where I put my hands on the steering wheel can block the sensor too. No problems with sunglasses.
Regardless, at least for me, this is the single most annoying thing about the car.
I’m at 2,500 miles, and have some minor gripes and one irritant. The damn “keep your eyes on the road sensor”. I tend to cruise with my right arm on the top left of the steering wheel, and it constantly triggers that warning. I have a long torso, short legs, so it’s a natural way for me to...
I have the same car, got it in April too.
I had a 76 Capri. It was a piece of junk but this car does kind of have the same profile and interior design. You have to stretch a lot to see it that way but I get what you are saying.
Well, I probably "use it" every day. I tend to let it run things when it's available. It's just that it's only available for short bursts and panics on turns.
I've only had it 1-1/2 months but other than the 100 mile drive home from the dealership, and one mini road trip, it's simply not...
In the past when I've gone to the Home page there was a Cyber Orange Mach E. Now it says empty garage. I did log out and log in to the app because that page was blank. It does have the vehicle under the Account section.
So, I click on the + symbol, enter my VIN and it says already attached...
We've got MachE's on lots here in California, which is how I bought mine. More than a 100 GT's according to Ford's site (not all of those are on the dealer's lot though). And, I get that GT's may not be what everyone wants.
I can't imagine paying over sticker.
Didn't read enough, looks like someone already did this, but I'll just leave it here.
Do it by miles to cost per gallon for fuel, and miles by KwH for the EV.
Assuming $5.00/gal and .26/KwH. Both about right here in California.
$5/55 = .09/mile
.26 / 3.2 = .078/mile
You can extend the math...
I really like it when it works but my daily commute of 40 miles can only use it for maybe 6 miles, and it's not consecutively.
It's also not reliable. In another section, it works for about a 1/4 mile, hits a turn, shuts off, then works for a couple of miles.
It's gotta get better, a lot...
A start up can have $500M in sales, a $200M loss and be worth more than a company like Ford. It's a wonderful thing, not having a profit, it makes you harder to value.
I paid $63K for a premium AWD. At these prices I'd have gone GT Performance.
But, alas, Cyber Orange is no longer a thing and I did get $7,500 so it's not all bad.
I don't have a home charger, yet, so I'm using a combination of cheap charging and the stock charger that came with the car.
I set the schedule to not charge between 9:00pm - 4:00pm, which was done based on my rate plan with PGE. Thing is, if I plug it in at 2:00pm it doesn't stop charging at...
