Ok, I thought it was just me too. I was updating every few days, then it stopped for the last few weeks at 2.7.4. Let's get back on the train :)

For those that finally got 2.6 installed, what did your Sync version number come up as? Mine is v4.0.21233, which I can't find anywhere.

This is what I did, worked like a dream. Ended up getting 2.6 (once my last failure timed out around lunch today).

I’m in the failed 2.6 boat. Today sometime will be the 3rd 2.6 attempt.

Just got my 2.6 notification today to update today. It failed, but I'll query it again to see if I can get it installed tonight.

That's what they did for me. Worked out fine. They ordered my APIM on Friday, and I had my car back updated on Monday.

Yes, this happened to me. My APIM came in on Monday (after ordering on Friday) and had my car back the same day.

So, after they replaced my APIM, I set an OTA update schedule for Tuesdays. But, on the widget, it doesn't show that I've set a schedule at all. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe there is a delay for Ford to see it.

I also suspect it's to prevent hacking attempts (Denial of Service attempt, backdooring, etc). Think of it like a password locked after so many failed attempts.

Ended up getting mine back with a new APIM. It's been updated to a recent version, with Notes and Calm Screen installed. Need to dive into it more, but I did set an OTA software update schedule for Tuesdays at noon.

Just an update. I haven't gotten my car back, but checking the FordPass Widget, my Sync has been updated to 4.0.21174 (from 4.0.20301). So, significant progress.

So, I'm supposed to get mine back today. But they reset my multiple times trying to get it to update. The update ended up failing, so they put in a new APIM module (which came in this morning). So at least they are working on it.

Just got a call from my dealer after I dropped it off yesterday (they did warn me that it wouldn't get done yesterday). The fix kept on failing, they've reset it a few times with no luck. So they are ordering me a new APIM. Supposedly it'll be here on Monday, and they'll swap it out. We will see...

Booked my appt for next Thursday (3/31). That should give them enough time to get things squared away (though, I had a bad modem in my car originally, and they had everything to diagnose and replace it anyway).

Mine was built in Dec 2020 as well with the same issue.

I'm going to try this. I'm in the same boat, since my update failure I've only put on 200 miles, and that's been very hit and miss driving (2 miles here, 1 mile there, stop at the gym, etc). I've got it running in the driveway, plugged in. Let's see what happens.

I just got mine back on Thursday after 8 weeks. It was really ready after 6, but the computer wouldn’t allow it to charge to 100%, so they dropped the battery and manually balanced it. Its been fine ever since. Pushed it really hard this weekend without issue.
