I have had an Illinois I-Pass for years that worked fine in my 2013 Fusion and my wife's 2019 Escape. After getting my Mach E in July 2021 I transferred the transponder to my MME and mounted it according to the instructions (front upper windshield approximately 4" below where the windshield...
For a long time I used Google Maps through Android Auto until the latest Ford Navigation update, when I decided to give it a try. I will use Ford Navigation for longer trips because it gives me more accurate range calculations. Some pros and cons....when using the range calculated by my car...
I had a 240v 50amp line run from circuit breaker box to my garage where it terminated into a NEMA 14-50 receptacle. I then connected a ChargePoint Flex Home charger (Level 2) which draws at 40amps (charges about 9.3 kw/hour). Easily charges to 100% in 8 hours or less depending on the State of...
All things considered, DEFINITELY!
The interesting thing for me was that I was not looking to purchase an EV. I am a Ford Guy and have wanted a Mustang since I was 16 and took my first ride in a '69 Mach I (stock 390 that was bored and stroked, balanced and blueprinted...tons of torque, really...
You're right...really tough to do when you're driving. I was parked in my driveway and had my wife text me a bunch of times. What I stumbled across was when I was adjusting the audio volume and the Audio Volume note appears at the top of the screen, when she texted me that note changed to...
,
In the Android Auto app on my phone, I turned "Play conversation chime" off but that still did not work...adjusting the volume did but there is a trick to it
You would think you could adjust the volume and that would work, but it's not intuitively obvious that you have to do it during the 1/2 second Chime notification.
Thanks Mike...playing around with my phone I also found this in the Android Auto app on my phone. Have not yet had a chance to verify that fixes the issue but it seems like it should. I will post again when I confirm. Thanks.
I am having the same problem. I recently upgraded my phone from a Google Pixel 4a 5G to a Google Pixel 6a. I believe this is around the time that I started receiving unbelievably loud message notifications...so not sure if it's related to the phone or a recent MME software update. That loud...
Thanks, that's kinda weird but I will test that out. One would think that, like the old "Intelligent Cruise Control", it would pick up the posted speed and make any tolerance adjustment from the time you activate the cruise control. Any idea if this is a flaw or a "design feature"?
It's been a minute but I have an update. My dealer identified my main display screen as being the source of several problems and ordered me a new main display screen. It took several months to come in (I could still drive the car) but eventually it did. As they replaced the screen and...
Thanks. I will check with them. I did have them install an update that needed to be done at the dealer but that was done before I took my Mach E in for the recalls. Unfortunately, the entire time they had my car for the recall it was at their body shop (separate building) where they did not...
I believe I am running the latest Sync 4A version: 21174_PRODUCT Revision: 168.
And yes, I have 3 cruise control modes, Normal, Adaptive, and Intelligent. I have switched between all three and I do not get the error message when using Adaptive Cruise Control. And in Intelligent Cruise Control...
The place they sent it to is their body shop so they have ample experience with Fords...but I think my Mach E was the first one they performed the Windshield and Moonroof recalls on. Not sure if they have the calibration tool, but I'll check. Thanks.
I didn't think there was, and after searching I couldn't find, a specific "sign recognition" setting...I believe it is just part of the Intelligent Cruise Control feature...and yes, ICC was turned on.
