I don't think it makes difference in real life. For daily use, you don't need to charge to 100%, and for long trips you DC charge to 80% anyway because the charging speed drops after that.
You may suffer twice. He may get you towed. I knew one hole who parked his motorcycle just to keep a parking spot for himself. When arriving in his car he would move the motorcycle to the side, and parking in that spot. When somebody else parked a car next to his motorcycle on that spot he would...
I noticed the same when the weather got cold and I needed to use the heater. The front an rear vents work fine when using AC, but nothing coming out of them when turning on the heat, even at max setting. I only see the heated air coming from the vents close to windshield.
And we all learned that the Government found easy ways circumventing the technicalities by putting pressure, incentives, colluding, etc. with private businesses. If anybody doubted that, Twitter files exposed that well.
I've never been a fan of Musk, primarily because of him turning Tesla into a...
When I lived in an apartment building our management used those really nasty stickers they put on windshield so you can't drive because you can't see anything. After spending an hour trying to get it off you lose any desire to illegally park again.
In the recall notice it's said: "Ford has not issued instructions to stop driving your vehicle under this safety recall. You should contact your dealer for an appointment to have your
vehicle remedied as soon as practicable. You can continue to drive your vehicle."
Dealers never had any problems selling cars to the other dealerships. When a car is in demand a dealer may get one for you from another dealer even far away. The problem is that the EVs are not selling now anywhere, so every dealer who ordered them have large inventories sitting on the lots...
I don't think Ford would want to run their own dealerships. It's a low profit margin business, and it brings nothing but negative popularity. Unloading all those problems on third party is really advantageous even though Ford would have to give them some 10% discounts for their troubles.
Btw, I...
When my boss turned 65 he bought a hotrod red muscle car getting a speeding ticket the next day. At the time I thought it was odd for a serious respected guy like him to act like a teen. Now 20 years later I understand 😃
It's like going to a restaurant you had a dinner yesterday asking them to bring you a glass of water. And when they say no, you remember that the waiter yesterday told you that they would bring you water any time.
You can find several on Amazon, just search for "Power Switch for Dryer and EV". But you will also need an EVSE that allows limiting charging at 24A. Ford mobile charger is drawing 30A and will probably blow the fuse.
I'm almost always using car built-in navigation. Google maps work fine, I think only once I had a problem with lost signal. I suppose the GPS receiver in the phone is weaker than in the car. But the bigger problem is that BT audio doesn't work at the same time as Android Auto, and I usually...
