I finally got in touch with someone via Ford chat yesterday. All they would tell me is that my account is blocked, and that someone from "our IT department" will have to review it. I asked them for a list of apps that are "unauthorized", and unsurprisingly, they didn't have one to give me. I...
Turns out, I did have an Optiwatt account from March that I'd completely forgotten about. Had to do a search through my email to find a reference to it. So I removed my car from that-do I need to do anything else before I reach out to Ford? Do I need to reach out to the devs at Optiwatt as well?
Is this the chat through the main Ford.com support site? I'm going to give that a try because I really don't have the patience to walk through phone support over this.
That doesn’t make sense. I never connected my car to ABRP. I certainly never logged in with my Ford credentials. I only ever picked out the car from a list. It was never connected in a way to pull data from the car.
So I got this email today, and I’m locked out of my account…and I’ve never used any of these apps that seem to be causing problems. Hell, I haven’t even heard of most of them. I have ABRP installed, but I’ve never connected anything to it.
I have been getting that notification about electrical...
Did you reach out to Ford first? What was the process? Mine definitely qualifies per Washington State, but it’s also a long, drawn out process that I wasn’t keen on getting into. But if I can get a replacement through Ford, I’d be stoked. I like the car in general, I’ve just had non-stop...
lol after my dealer having my car for two weeks to fix the 1.7 stuck issue, and them insisting to me that all of the power up updates have been applied, today while driving around, I got my first OTA update ever…to 2.1.
this fucking car, I swear
Just got the call from my service department that my car is finally ready to pick up. What should I be looking for on the software side to ensure this was installed correctly, and I'm on the current Power-Up version? What is the current Power-Up version?
This is exactly what's happening to me. Entering my third week of the service department having my car, and they won't even answer the phone anymore. The customer service specialist I'm working with hadn't been able to get through until today. It's clear they either have no idea what they're...
My Mustang has been at the dealership for almost two weeks now. My service advisor mentioned something about a new TSB being issued, and needing to get some special hardware, so putting two and two together, I'm guessing it's this. They've had to engage with some tech team for help, and after my...
Bumping this because my dealer is claiming the replacement piece is on back order, but it's showing as available here: https://parts.lakelandford.com/p/Ford__Mustang-Mach-E/Spacer-ring/98529208/LJ8Z10370A.html
Has anyone had this fixed by their dealership? I assume it's not (easily) user...
I picked up my car from the recall today, and I don’t think they did any of the software updates at all. I alreday have to take it back because the replacement for the charge door that broke in the cold weather is on back order, so if I have to go back again for THIS, its gonna be a bad time...
I'm a UX designer, and had the exact same thought as you. And at the time, they were hiring UX designers, but the salary was such a drop off, that I never really considered it. If they really want to get competitive in this space, they really need to get competitive, and that means from a talent...
Crossposting from another thread, but this had been happening to me the last few days. It's been cold in Seattle-but not unreasonably so-and I noticed that after a drive, the door wouldn't open. I kept having to pry it open, because nothing would work. I thought maybe it was frozen, but I pushed...
This just happened to me a few minutes ago. It's been cold in Seattle-but not unreasonably so-and I noticed that after a drive, the door wouldn't open. I kept having to pry it open, because nothing would work. I thought maybe it was frozen, but I pushed one more time, heard a pop, and when it...
