They had no choice. Tesla is the dominant player, and their price cuts have lead to a stampede to order their new lower priced vehicles..leaving dealerships like Ford and Hyundai listening to crickets. More price cuts to come I imagine. Tesla has higher margins so they can still drive pricing in...
First, I would run, not walk, away from that first dealer. Work with Ford, I think they would like to see you buy one of their products. They can't do much about an individual dealer sometimes, but they can help you buy a car!
Thanks for the heads up about the x plan. We ordered my daughter's Transit cargo van that way, looks like it saves us about $500 over regular negotiated pricing...
By the way, WC Ford only has two of the six MME's now. The four sold on the same day this past week. The dealership sold 22 cars...
Not directly Mach E related...my daughter is going to be buying a Transit cargo van for her business and I am trying to help her get the best pricing available. Is there a way to get X Plan pricing, and if so how can I access the appropriate code? We don't know any Ford employees unfortunately...
Does anyone know how to get an x plan code? My daughter is going to be buying a transit cargo van for her business, trying to get the best pricing possible. Thanks
We have purchased from them in the past (used F150) and they have always been good to deal with for us. Not sure what the 'Route 1' version is, but in terms of colors I saw one white (off white, looked pretty), one blue/grey, two black and two red. Happy hunting! Sounds like a really good job...
I was at Walnut Creek Ford today with my daughter, looking at Transit vans...and the dealership had 6 Mach-E that I saw. They were all just out in the lot, none looked sold yet. They also had a 'no markup' sticker on the window FWIW.
