Already looking at replacing my Mach E GT/PE with a REV. No way in hell am I paying that kind of money for blue cruise. Pisses me off that they did a bait and switch. If you bought your car when it was $300 a year it needs to stay that way.
My question is what comes with the motor? Any harness, controller etc? Doesn't seem very useful if there isn't the computer or the other necessary parts to integrate it. Would love to do a conversion on my side by side with one of these.
My extra 250KW showed up like 2 days later after signing up. It shows 500KW now. I got the email too but actually got my Mach E on time and still got the extra 250.
Don't think anyone cares about value since car color does nothing for value. The issue is having colors that are only available for a specific trim then turning around and making it available for all trims 2 months later... everyone with a 2021 that wanted one of those colors could have just...
I printed them in PETG but it is a pretty thin layer so it is still a bit flexible for removal. I made knockouts on the underside so you could do whatever color you want for the background. I haven't found a good match for the cyber metallic yet but the silver goes with the dash and trim colors.
I made some custom cup holder inserts for my GT-PE and thought I would share. I'm looking to make different colors and designs and interested to see what people might be interested in. The picture is covered with 3M Dinoc carbon fiber vinyl.
I also made a replacement charging mat for the...
Has there been any word on color choices for 2022? I saw a leak for the Mustangs and they are getting a few new colors like oil slick purple and some others that look kinda cool.
I've tried the different drive modes and have taken it on a trip that was about 150 miles. The differences in drive modes are subtle such as the amount of regenerative breaking with 1 pedal mode and the firmness of the suspension. In whisper the suspension is softer and handles bumps better and...
I'm working on some custom inserts for the cup holders with matching colors and or a carbon fiber look. Also a charging mat with some custom colors/designs and fit for large phones.
There is no indicator that it will not engage if going over 80. If you are going over 80 and the car slows down because of a vehicle in front of you then blue cruise will engage and once the car in front of you speeds up or moves out of the way then blue cruise will turn off once you exceed 80mph
Some updates. Just did a trip from Salt Lake City North to Pocatello, ID. One thing I learned is that Blue Cruise does not work if you go over 80mph. Took me a while to figure out why it wasn't working. Speed limit here is 80mph.
It says blue cruise on the display when it is first engaged. There is an icon showing hands on the wheel when it is nagging you too hold the steering wheel.
It works pretty good. I was using it in town on a stretch of road that runs next to the interstate which was in expected. On the interstate they are doing construction and the lanes shift and the lines are worn for a good stretch but it steered just fine. Not sure what the difference is between...
