I also was the first at my dealer, now I have to take it in for the two recalls windshield and pano.... hope your issue is resolved with the APIM and it you get many miles of enjoyment from it!
During the first month I had it (Feb), there were several "notifications", pre collision, service vehicle and backup assist not available. Each time the notification went away after a restart, that was 12,000 miles ago and before the first OTA. I did get a backup assist message again last week...
It has a multiple benefits.
The safety aspect is the primary reason, although 3mph doesn't sound like much, it does at up for an overnight or extended stay.
There are several campgrounds which offer 14-50 NEMA outlets, which would provide a quicker charge and sometimes at a flat rate.
Some...
I started out using the mobile charger that came with the car. Unplugging and repacking it up in the car for every long distance drive was a slight inconvenience but after forgetting to take it one time (although I didn't need to use it) it actually added some additional stress to the entire...
When I picked up my car earlier this year I could work in the far side of my garage without the car detecting my phone but if I walked past it on the way to the house door it would. I have noticed that since the latest PaaK update it now detects me further away, i.e. on the far side of the...
I just rolled over 13000 on my FE. I have never reset the Trip2 because I like to know what lifetime average mileage is. My Trip2 shows 3.1 and if I do the simple math (3.1 x 88kWh) it comes out to 272.8. The range I expected from my FE was 270, so I have zero complains on range. What does the...
"View Chargers" still crashes the app, has never worked on my Samsung Note 8 but always worked on the Samsung Note 10. Still no Frunk button but the dealer did say they updated the PaaK about a month ago. Since it doesn't sound like it works for anyone else, I will just keep waiting.... I don't...
I have received the PaaK dealer update as well as running 3.28.0 in the app but that icon doesn't show up. I hope this button isn't for the F-150 Lightning.
They would be there on a metal roof but nobody would see them from inside the car. Kids arms aren't typically long enough...it's the "mature" teens and adults some of us have to contend with.
Mine is also garaged but I believe cars are meant to be driven (rain, snow or shine).
ICC monitors speed limit signs and adjusts when necessary. There are a few stretches of road I travel which have multiple deliberate speed traps. While I know where they are and do pay attention, having the car monitor this does provide me with a "less stressed" drive.
ICC also remove stress...
I have one on my passenger front door as well. There were two of us in the car when we heard something hit the side of the car as we passed a rock hauler. It was after that trip when we noticed it so we concluded that was the cause.
All Great points!
One additional point for having the dealership service the vehicle is software/firmware/module updates which I am not sure tire shops would be able to do.
Looking at the comments for the article itself, it appears there are many people questioning the "numbers" across multiple brands. So it is definitely wise to do some additional research and look for supporting facts/documents.
Even if there is a recall coming, not sure why the dealer would stop the sale if the car is already built. I would think they would sell the car but tell the owner they need to hold it for a warranty repair. I would be very surprised if a mass recall for the Mach-E was issued, this feels/seems...
