Quick Question, I had the same lengthy install on my Blue Cruise. Took over 3 days to complete it.
I tried it out and it seems to function ok, but don't love it. Probably because I enjoy driving the car, vs surfing the internet while driving.
I have spent some time playing with the...
Thanks for the Info.
Love the wheel flares painted.
Would love to see the new data with the single digit temps today in MSP, or even the sub zero stuff coming next month.
Please do a follow up...
When you put performance wheels and tires on, you "dramatically" change the rotating masses location of the wheel. That will in turn change how the suspension reacts to the road.
From my driving experience, "Wavy" roads are not the issue, it is how the suspension reacts to the subtle...
I had a long talk with my fitment guys on it. I wanted to keep all 4 wheels the same and not stagger them. So went 8.5 to be safe.
Key was getting the offset right and not having it look stupid if I went wider then 8.5. I might have been able to squeeze a 9 in, but they would have stuck out...
Here is a thread on the from that has a lot of good info on caliper removal...

We used to count the number of cylinders we had in your garage. It was a badge of honor or more likely a show of how dumb we were spending money on toys... At one point, I was up to 48 cylinders...
Today I have 121.8 kWh in the garage, not including my girlfriends 75 kWh from her 2021...
Those are nice. will look good rolling down the road.
I was originally going to go with the MRR GF9, but switched to the FS06....
I was trying to emulate the Carol Shelby CS3 as close as possible.... I talked with the guys at Carol Shelby and they are working on maybe getting the CS3...
I did consider the 21 and 22...
I talked myself out of it. When I put all the pro's and con's together, not going larger was the right call for me.
I think 21 or 22 would look good, but only if the wheels were a little less open. The front is perfect, but the rear caliper/rotor is a little...
A special thx to Alex Bellus for the photo's. He is an amazing artist and I think he really captured how great the MRR's looked on the Mach E. http://www.alexbellusphoto.com/
The MRR guys are really good to work with and take a ton of pride in the wheel sets. My fitment guys were back and...
Good Luck... You will love it....
My guys use BASF for paint and brought them in to scan the car and match the color.... I can get you the color code if you need it....
Ford may have released it by now, they didn't have it 4 months ago...
They did.
It's probably the reason why the GT and the First Edition are the only one's that have the painted flares... It's a little more complicated than just pulling the flares and painting them....
I will let you know next week after my buddy drives it, he will know for sure.
It felt like the 19's had a little more rolling on the edge to them than the 20's...
Great point.... I really like the ride with the OE wheels also. This is just different.
I agree with the Stiffness of the Tesla's. I have driven several Tesla's with and without aftermarket wheels on them. They all feel the same. Kind of "Go-Carty" stiff to me.
With this wheel combo you...
Congrats Stang68
The wheel flares not being gloss black will make a dramatic difference. You will LOVE the new look.
Here is my new wheel set up I just put on yesterday. I'll get some better pics next week.
