Hi,
Thanks for the info about Ford Pass Pro - might give it a try π
Certainly not hauling a lot around, but mainly local B and A roads so 40 - 60mph, with a few long motorway jouneys.
I've had the car since June 2021 and although only about 9,000 miles it's been pretty consistent - was up...
Hi @Teslaeata
My range is about 310 - RWD ER ..... which is still pretty good π
I am intruiged by your "Mach-E App" π€
Looks really good - and useful .... I like the fact it shows the car is locked (or unlocked!)
I've probably missed this somewhere on the forum, but would be great to know...
Hi all,
I thought someone had posted recently about auto-dipping headlights - but can't find it, so here I go!
I am on all the latest (UK) OTAs for a few weeks, and have noticed that the auto-dipping headlights seem to be quite random. The other night I went out and for the first couple of...
Hi @portlandg
Genius π
I didn't realise that would re-set the TPMS - worked perfectly, and everything is fine again π
Very many thanks, and hope you enjoy the long weekend,
David
Hi all,
I had this warning pop up yesterday for the offside rear tyre - then today for both rear tyres.
I checked them both with my tyre pressure guage and the pressures are corrrect (41psi) and agree with the pressure shown on the warning - so am very confused π€
Obviously, this is not "...
Hi @TonyH
Re your trip to Swansea, please see my earlier post re: the M48 service area, by the second (northern most) Severn Bridge.
If when heading down you stay on the M5 rather than going on to the M50 and then head over the Severn on the M48 the services are just before the bridge.
Really...
Hi @grovep
Thanks for your thoughts above - really interesting, not sure I understand it all but certainly get your drift π€
I had the software update applied by my dealers this morning (many thanks to Dinnages in Hove π) - all very efficient so hopefully everyone can get their HVBJB "jab" in...
One year old today ........... π
Coming back from a few days in Herefordshire, I treated my car on its 1st Birthday to a fast charge at the new/newly upgraded Gridserve chargers at the slightly-off-the-beaten-track (to me at least!) M48 Severn View service area!
I guess the majority of...
Hi @portlandg
Many thanks for your thoughts and experience - that is really incredibly helpful, especially the M4/M5 ones which I'll use on our next trip π
Best wishes,
David
Hi @BlackheathDiggs
Hope all is well!
Just out of interest, how do you plan your charging on those long trips .... sorry if this sounds a bit naive?
I've an RWD ER and only ever had to use the motorway charging network twice in the year I've had the car (always managed to find a hotel or...
Hi @portlandg
Just checked mine as I had to go out and close the windows ....... really hot here today!
They all seemed fine, both on approach and opening the boot, and closing - I have also just had the recent 2 software updates (to 2.6.0).
Sorry if that doesn't really help.
Hope you get...
Hi @portlandg
Thanks for that - and the Gloucester Services recommendation π
Checked in my car and likewise now shows success and the details as 2.6.0 π
Cheers,
David
Hi all,
We're planning a trip from home in East Sussex to Herefordshire so (having had some good charger tips for a family trip to Devon last month π) I thought I would ask around to see if anyone could suggest some good medium/fast chargers.
Once we're round the M25 π€ we're likely to go...
Hi @portlandg
Re: the OTA, I am exactly the same as you!
Saw an update had been applied but no information when I clicked on "Details". Am also definltely on 2.3.0 but showing 2.1.0. π€
My car is a year old next Friday, so am looking forward to a special OTA from Ford π
Cheers,
David
Hi all,
We went to Devon a few weeks ago from home (East Sussex), so I thought I would post a very brief update on range and charging.
Range/mKwH
Did over 400 miles in round trip, and averaged between 3.7 and 3.9. Mix of fast roads and motorway (A27 and M27) at 70mph, plus the usual slower...
Hi @TomW
One point to note - there was a problem (in the early days ..... about a year ago now in fact!) with brakes binding/scoring the disks (rear disks in my case) potentially due to not using the friction brakes when OPD activated.
I think this may have been resolved (via software update...
Hi @Wonky_Donkey
Sounds like some useful tweaks coming through - I look forward to having the A/C switch on the main screen π
Really glad it's arrived, and enjoy your new car π
Cheers,
David
PS: Also liked your new home - I knew you were moving, but ..................... π
Hi @Wonky_Donkey
Thanks for this - just got mine back last week after the roof/windscreen/software recalls (all good from my dealer), and as mine was end November 2020 looks like another one π€ but never mind!
I can remember those posts - caused quite a stir if I recall π¨
Cheers
David
Hi Stephen,
Apologies for the delay - just back from our long weekend in Devon - all went really well (more on that later)
I had a grey AWD ER 71 plate - very nice π ... albeit prefer my Rapid Red RWD, and the extra miles!
Definitely worth giving them a call, although I know they are busy...
