The navigation tries to put you at your destination with a certain amount of remaining charge PLUS enough extra to get to the nearest charger. So if the charger nearest to your home is pretty far away from a charger, and it thinks you'd arrive there without enough to get back to that charger ...

On the map it should show all chargers it knows of, both L2 and L3. But in the nav under Where To, you can filter ti just fast chargers (icon in the upper right of the list view) and it will keep that preference until you clear it.

Well, they are a global company, and as I mentioned, it’s been used for years in some German cars. I’ve seen “μ” used for average as well, but never in a car, so I can’t even imagine the reaction this forum if they overpaid THAT on a battery for an icon!

The Power My Trip and built in Nav always leave you at your destination with enough charge to get back to another charger. So if it thinks you need it, it won’t allow you to delete it completely. You can drive past it and keep driving, and when it recalculates, if it thinks you don’t need it...

Also, funny enough, ~ is only used commonly for “approximately equal” these days because the correct mathematical symbol ≈ is more difficult to type. But the trip value denoted is a running average. Not an approximation.
