I have had that error EVERY MORNING for 2 years without any issues. Im calling 'bullshit' on that diagnosis from your dealer. If your dashcam has the ability, make sure it turns off if your battery gets below i.e. 12.2v

I am in the same boat. 12 months left. I really like this car. I intend to buy mine outright.

So, I left the trickle charger on the 12V battery overnight with an update scheduled at 3 AM. The update FINALLY installed. Some interesting points: The battery never got above 12.20 volts which is barely 60% SOC. FWIW, I actually set the parking brake.

I would not be surprised if the SOC of the 12V battery were the problem here. I drive very short distances most days. I just measured my 12V battery voltage at 12.18. That would correlate with a SOC of less than 60%. I'm going to connect it to a trickle charger overnight to see what happens.

I also have intermittent GPS signal. I have had the same problem with my last 2 cars (Tesla and BMW) and have just come to accept it.
