Friday I said good bye to 2 of my favorite vehicles, my 2021 MME (31k miles) and my 2014 Ram 1500 (127k miles). Both have many memories with my Ram being a staple in my kids growing up over the past 9 years, countless road trips and vacations memories. The MME was a bit of a spontaneous...
It seems that these OTA cause other issues and then I wouldn't be surprised at 40k miles they end up causing out of warranty repairs to owners. Just thoughts I had today as I had a great operating phone calling capability then updates and it is hosed.
Well this is ridiculous, my center screen now consistently is blank and locked up every morning or after sitting for a day at work. Reset has to be done 2-3 times and while all this nonsense goes on the HVAC controls are locked. Also the walk away locks isn't working either.
Have a June 15...
Well my 2021 is at 22k miles now and given car prices and ridiculous wait times an finance rates I've decided to keep my mme. I added a 6 year 100k Ford warranty from the following, pretty good rates and discounted from my dealership...
So I've had it for less then a week but put it to use on trips back and forth from Huntsville, AL to Milton, GA.
1. Handsfree is nice but I've found that having my left leg bent and holding the wheel is pretty much the same before BlueCruise. Note: My leg comment above was how I was...
I'm pretty much frustrated with Ford Dealership service and have decided to not order a Lighting and put my order in for a Silverado EV. Dealership actually followed up with me within less then an hour about where there were and what they knew, which was just confirming orders and contact info...
I'm looking at a weekend of driving for helping my parents out. I can easily make the one way trip on Friday in my MME from Huntsville, AL to Milton GA on my standard range RWD MME, I may actually stop in Rome GA at a Charge Point station or a EA in Woodstock, GA that is a bit out of the way...
With gas prices climbing my wife has taken to driving my MME this week vs her Challenger GT. I work st home and don't really need to drive much during the day and have 3 cars still to drive. I've been kidding her about it as she is my muscle car lady.
I'm almost done with Ford because the local dealership service, Woody Anderson, continues to be the most incompetent. Last year I called in to get my warranty work done, which resulted in an appointment a 6 weeks out for availability. That is fine to me but after waiting 6 weeks and being spam...
I'm on a 5 day trip with only access to a 120 at night. I did fast charge to 80% and plugged in about an hour ago. The Ford App say 1 kWh is all it is doing. Is this average? I brought a very long extention cord as I was unsure the distance to an outlet, would getting a short cord help...
Last Friday I was at the dealership getting my 2nd Fob programed and had some time to kill. The dealership had out front the new 4 door Bronco in a manual no less. After setting off the alarm, I asked to take it for a test drive. You would think the lack of customers would inspire a level of...
Seeing some walk around and demos of the F150 Pro today. Pre-production of course but pretty impressive and if they hold the price it will be equal to a current F150 XL. I'm not planning to jump on it for a few years, but these changes and advance are why I think the options program works well...
Heading to Jamaica this week and concerned about range:)
Actually our first trip in the MME is from Huntsville to Atlanta for flying out. The distance isn't really a stressed on our std range MME so should be an excellent first test. Due to international flight leaving early we will drive about...
There are tons of threads on PAAK, how about a simple survey,
1) Works all the time, seamless to a fob in your pocket
2) Works sometimes and I'm willing to mess around with it
3) Works sometimes but I won't trust it and is a safety issue if I or my family is locked out
4) Never works
5) Don't...
Following along since I ordered in Feb my MME and it seems most issues are FE and early builds. Mine was built 1st week in June and we got it first week in July. 800 miles, not much, but only real issue is the PAAK doesn't work. I had an extreme backing up a very steep driveway with a trailer...
We are thinking of taking the MME to Fredericksburg VA from Huntsville AL end of July and I'm struggling to plan the trip. I've tried several apps but really I'm looking for a simple route with ev stations. Any help is appreciated.
