I have had this idea circulating in my mind for some time. Finally able to get it all hooked up and finished. I’m pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Does anyone have a sure fire way to set the DIP switches to ensure 48 Amp charging? If I set all of the to the in position, would that make it 48? What about DIP #5?
I have read through every post, and seems no one is still able to give a definitive answer.
I have read through every thread I can find about the DIP switches, and still cannot figure out exactly how to set them. I would like to be able to charge at 48A.
I have tried it at different amp settings and it does the same thing.
I also know ther has been some discrepancies in the DIP switches, so not sure if this has something to do with it.
The charger is working fine, and is charging, but I am unsure how many amps it is putting in.

That is the car. I am local to the car and the one that posted about the GT the OP purchased.
I am a little surprised it is priced that high, considering sticker was $59,800 minus the $7500 tax credit that the used car is not eligible for.
Also, as the OP mentioned, they gave him $48k trade...
Some of you know how to what really should be a celebration, and congrats on getting a new GT, into a place to questions people’s individual decisions. The OP is obviously happy with the car, the deal, and the trade in on the FE. I’m happy for him, regardless of the reasons.

I was able to go by and drive the car this afternoon. All I can say is WOW!!! From 0-75, you could feel it in your body. Didn’t get much above that because roads not conducive to that.
