I had this problem for months until the camera input ultimately failed. Had the IPMA replaced under warranty. There is a technical service bulletin regarding this (see thread).
I rented a Bolt EV from Hertz in Tampa and the local agency was not aligned with that policy. I charged it back to the level (85%) at which they gave it to me, but they tried to charge me $35 for charging. I disputed it with Hertz on-line and they refunded me the $35.
Agree- If you don't have a home Level 2 charger, there is little to no savings. I charge at home off-peak, and last summer was saving about $250/month vs my previous mid-size SUV which averaged about 20 mpg.
I thought it was a Grizzle E charger issue, but it turns out some charging hardware on the car needed to be replaced (under warranty). All good now, and getting about 30 miles/hour of charge.
Thank you for the informative and well-written review. I am also coming up on 2 years and would echo some of your concerns. I have not had the update issues and the buzzing complaint, however. I have had the HVBJB replaced and recently noticed that charging speed has degraded at my home level 2...
I have had this problem once (red ring flashing), but usually the GrizzlE just stops charging after 20 min or so, after blinking green. I have noticed that the J1772 connector is a little warm. I contacted United Chargers and they sent a new charger, with the same issue. Should I request a new...
Thanks- Had it installed and bought a bike rack and it looks great. I turned off the foot switch, just in case. You are right- the rack itself is seen as a "target" by the back up warning so you have to turn off the automatic brake assist. I don't mind the warning chime- need to be more careful...
Has anyone had a problem with their EZ Pass/electronic toll transmitter not being picked up? I have gotten three letters that I did not pay a toll, when I had the transmitter on the windshield. Is it because of the acoustic glass? I hate to have to get an external mount.
Thanks! I ordered the TorkLift hitch and just need to find an installer. One of their certified dealers quoted 3 hours labor to install but TorkLift says it should not take that long, as the bumper cover does not need to be removed.
I called Stealth Hitch today and they will not be ready for 6 months! I don't want to miss out on summer activities, especially bike riding. So, I'm looking at the TorkLift hitch. Does anyone know if it interferes with the foot switch for the rear hatch?
