You did, but you're too simple to see what was going on. Ford's website from day one has said those power numbers were based on peak battery power. Peak battery power means 100%. You'll never drive around with 100%.
You're mad because you now have a car that doesn't do what you thought it...
I didn’t have any expectation of trap speeds. If I were going to race mine, I’d concern myself with ETs.
The Volvo may be the better car for you then.
You forgot the “Mach E”, which makes all the difference in the world. For anyone that took the trick on the advertising, that’s on them...
You first.
Some people read into the marketing. Some people took the marketing for what it is. At this point everyone can see what the performance is. Either buy it or don’t.
This will go down as a masterclass of marketing. I would’ve never imagined someone would look at an electric SUV and think its performance envelope is the same as a 911.
IMO it looks better on the MME because of the curves. The light bounces off an MME and gives it dimension I don’t see when I look at a cyber orange Ranger or Bronco.
Cyber Orange only looks yellow until you put it next to a yellow car. It also looks far more pale in artificial light. It needs sunlight to really come alive.
Agreed. It would be great if one of these “influencers” asked point blank about the quarter mile performance and published that answer or lack thereof.
I stand by what I said as people started getting theirs and posting ETs. Ford wanted a peformance version to sell against Tesla, but don’t...
Ford is downplaying/hiding the quarter mile times. Ford could have rented a drag strip for the media day and have trained drivers on hand to wring out the best ETs before letting the bloggers try it. That’s exactly what they did for the GT500 in Vegas last year. This is all the result of a...
