After taking delivery of the Mach-E and giving our impressions on the car, my son and I head off to Caffeine and Machine, a hub of UK motoring enthusiasts, to see what the typical car enthusiast thinks of the car... And while we're there, we're met with a nice surprise...
There's a couple of possibilities:
a) The car could be as designed but you were expecting a soft, floating ride and not a more sporty ride designed to give you confidence in cornering and direction changes or
b) There's an issue with your suspension.
On a car's suspension, the spring compresses...
That doesn't seem right. I'm guessing this is in the US? In the UK, if you place an order and the seller accepts it, that's a contract. If they try to change the terms of that contract – they are in breach of contract. Consumer laws here protect further against that kind of behaviour. I'd look...
They really needed a globally popular vehicle format so they could hit all markets and sell enough vehicles to bring their average emissions across their ranges down (regulations on manufacturer wide emissions are getting tougher across all jurisdictions).
SUVs sell. Just a fact of the global...
I now believe this is actually iconic silver which was not available on the first edition. Everything about the car in the video was first edition spec but for the colour.
Having reviewed the content, I think it is actually iconic silver. Because it's a first edition spec, I believed it to be Carbonised Grey... However, I now think it's iconic silver.
Given that this is a pre-production prototype, it's feasible that it was made not to final spec hence first...
Thanks for watching!
It's likely these are display numbers. This was one of 20 pre production display prototypes in the world. I think there's only 2 in the UK.
We're still months away from production so there's still work to do.
Was there anything you saw that you liked the look of?
Here's an overview of the interior of the All Electric Mustang Mach-E and my feelings about it! I attended the Ford Go Electric Exhibition in Marble Arch, London where there were not one but two Ford Mustang Mach-Es on display. One of them, a First Edition in the colour that I ordered!
Enjoy!
NOTE:
The post from above (quoted below) now has been promoted by the Admins to be its own thread...

I think we're faced with a choice... Obsess over the Mustang being petrol powered and watch the brand become a part of history or... make the brand commercially viable based on what people buy today and how cars will be propelled in the future.
The whole point of Mustang is to be...

I was fortunate enough to be in the drivers seat of a Mach-E recently... Not fortunate enough to actually drive it sadly... But got a full walk around of the car, sat in the driver's seat. It is an absolutely gorgeous car. The driving position was easy to set up and I felt right at home. Can't...
