I've been working on some logic to fix it. The root cause is that Comma is only using one of the four signals Ford designed for lane centering. Without the other 3 signals it's harder to hold it perfectly straight. I'll reach out to you when it's ready for another tester.
Why would you want to make your own harness? They are back in stock. The problem with making your own is the PCB connector is only sold in bulk (minimum order of 300)...
Did you make sure that those options are not just turned off in the settings menu? If you received any OTAs since you installed the Comma it could have reset the preferences.
You can use an ODB2 port splitter. The Comma also logs every canbus signal while you are driving, it might provide more useful than what you are using now (although probably not as user friendly)
@TheNoname problem is not related to the lightning harness issue. when he hooks up the Comma in the trunk using the stock supplied short USB cable, he still has no communication between the IPMA and the car. I suspect he has a bard harness box where the relay is not failing closed.

It records (almost 360) video anytime you are on-road, it does not have a sentry mode when parked due to lack of hdd space. "Dashcam mode" refers to a mode when it is locked into dashcam only and will not provide ADAS, usually because it does not recognize the vehicle or thinks the vehicle is...
MachE windshield does block lots of signals:

There are some who hare not having the pop-up though, so I think it's dependent on how strong the signal in your area is. I will see if I can find a way to...
ASA has similar properties to ABS, but is much easier to print with, I recommend that if you are struggling with ABS. I also always use a raft with ABS, make getting things to stick and lay flat much easier.. Do not use PETG for things that live in the car, I tried that and they warp.
As to what you can get out of FDRS....
All of the updates for BC1.4 are in FDRS, except the APIM update to toggle the new features. So if you get fully up to date with FDRS, you will have the improved engagement.
You can certainly try it without pulling all of the trim, but you will need to pull some in the trunk to access the IPMA. although I have a MachE, I’ve not had the time to install the Comma in it so I’ve not done it myself. Here is a copy/paste of some notes someone else provided...
Yes, SunnyPilot is the best way to go, it supports MachE out of the box, no need to make a custom fork or ssh in to get out of dash cam mode. There is a team of about six working continuously on Ford, and we have submitted several code updates to Comma and Sunny to improve the experience for...
I did reach a state during the initial blue cruise roll out for Job 1 vehicles where I had no lane centering and no more updates available in FDRS (failed IPC update). So it's possible it's just a software update needed. Also possible the ADAS camera cable is bad.. or it's possible it's both...
