I had the same attitude about it until an OTA update bricked it last year. If you haven't done so already, I'd turn off OTA updates if I were you.

Interesting. For my own education, when I measured between legs on the old breaker with the EVSE disconnected why did it show 90V? I would have thought it would read 0V if one leg was bad. (I know very little about the inner workings of breakers)

The panel is Eaton. The breaker the electrician put in last summer has no branding on it. I replaced it with an Eaton CH. (which is what the rest of the circuits in the panel use)
