8 months later and I've used their service department twice now and am happy with it.
They came out to the house and did a recall software upgrade a few months ago, super convenient and he was only here for about 30 minutes or so.
After months of overly stiff feeling front suspension and...
If I road tripped a lot, I might consider re-subscribing if Ford would update my 2021 to show Tesla supercharger options. I actually prefer the built-in Ford nav's range circle feature (where it draws a boundary line of where it predicts your range to be.)
But without Tesla Superchargers...
FWIW, I have the same PS4Ss on mine and had the knocking.
I should be getting my car back from the service center today so hopefully the repairs resolved it.
My 2021 Premium AWD+ER is in the shop diagnosed needing the same repair, I assume yours was fixed under warranty but I'm curious if you know what the bill cost?
Sure enough, with switch "on" I read 0.00 ohms across one pole but 0.L across the other (can't remember if that means Open Loop or Open Line but it's the same as not touching the probes to anything)
UPDATE: Actually, it does read 0.00 on the "bad" pole but only on one side of the blades that...
Interesting.
For my own education, when I measured between legs on the old breaker with the EVSE disconnected why did it show 90V? I would have thought it would read 0V if one leg was bad. (I know very little about the inner workings of breakers)
The panel is Eaton. The breaker the electrician put in last summer has no branding on it. I replaced it with an Eaton CH. (which is what the rest of the circuits in the panel use)
Within minutes, tech support sent me a more detailed troubleshooting guide and, sure enough, i had not tried measuring voltage across the breaker poles. (Not sure why I hadn’t thought if that 🤦🏻‍♂️) When I did, I found that it was only reading 90V even though the individual poles were ~120V...
After about 8 months of light use, my Grizzl-E Ultimate 48A unceremoniously died last night.
I Plugged my MME in last night after a short drive and within moments I got a charge failure notification from the Ford iPhone app. Came back out to find the Grizzl-E EVSE completely dead, LED not on at...
I haven't had Connected Nav in my '21 for a couple of years now; did they ever add Tesla Superchargers to older model years or is it still a 2025+ model year only "feature"?
Completely fair point. As a former scout-dad I can appreciate your use case and agree that most destinations would have zero charging opportunities anywhere near the campsite.
Honestly, I hope I'm wrong and massive sales of EREV F-150s trigger a relaunch of a BEV one for those of us that would...
