Your solar is probably cutting off due to lack of sun or insufficient power and the EVSE is not going through a graceful shutdown. Think of it like pulling the plug on your computer instead of shutting down properly, your computer will think there was a fault when it is booted back up.
This thread is a self report of Ford being unbelievably bad at software and vertical integration features. That being said, theyāre right, Ford will probably mess this up so I donāt want it.
For reference, Tesla has had this for years and it literally ājust works.ā
There are cars out there already that have passenger media screens. Porsche and Jeep Grand Wagoneer come to mind, however they go to painfully extreme lengths to make sure only the passenger can physically view it. Even disabling the software lock wouldnāt work on those.
Additionally, Iām not...
Never got around to installing this, still brand new sealed in the bag it shipped with.
Free for pickup in Central Texas or just pay shipping via whatever method/speed you choose. Itās a very light item so I wouldnāt expect it to be much.
Hereās the amazon link for more info...
Thatās really weird. On regular RWD without the crazy torque itās still the rears that wear. Add on 400-650 lbft of torque and the rears will wear at a much higher rate.
But honestly what do I know my tires were shot after 12k anyway.
Youāre not the first person to say this but it is so uninformed I donāt understand how this myth persists. Thereās literally no way to maliciously modify the software update without the car knowing, you could connect to āPublic Starbucks WiFiā and you can still be 100% certain that youāve...
Iāve been apparently blocked by a Ford Engineer here because of suggesting such a straightforward solution to their boneheaded strategy of not charging the 12V battery unless itās under a critical level (which it always seems to miss, and harms the health of the battery).
This has left me...
Maybe yāall can think about charging the 12V to a healthy level while plugged in now, and not just while charging the HVB? Is that really too much to ask after all these years.
Then why is Ford bothering with all this new fangled electricity stuff, the people youāre talking about are buying Camrys.
Donāt kid yourself that Ford wasnāt trying to directly compete with Tesla with this product.
